Appearance

Luster is not a terribly large Gembound. From the tip of her nose to the base of her tail, she measures in at just over a foot. And is, most definitely, a unique looking gembound.

Much of her shape is taken from Onyekachukwu, rather dog like with a sloping build. Parts of her face are covered in dark brown gur that could be mistaken for a dark grey, and this fur, albeit a lighter grey-brown in color, continues down her stomach, until reaching her hips. This is line with jagged stripes that are the color of the fur on her face.

This fur runs down her forelegs, and ends in dog-like paws. The darker fur reaches from her toes to, nearly, her ankles, leaving her to have the appearance of wearing socks.

Her head is rather lizard-like, with a blunt nose and an overbite, two small nostrils instead of a canine's glistening nose. Her eyes are an eerie black, glistening in an odd fashion. Her ears are rather long, and covered with the same fur as the rest of her, heavily populated with stripes. Her gem, a handsome chunk of red, sits on top of of the flat of her head, only slightly ahead of her ears.

While this is, at least, somewhat normal, the rest of her is less normal. She is covered in spiky brown scales, starting at her head in the manner of a helmet. Her eyes are left unguarded, with a small amount of fur between it and her scales. The scales run down her back, reaching about halfway down her sides. They are the same color as her fur, and contain the same markings as the rest of her.

These scales covered her hind legs, covered in many smaller scales, instead of plates like on her back. These end in clawed, reptilian feet, which are rather bear at the bottom. These scales continue down her tail, which is almost as long as her torso, eventually fading away into dark, somewhat bristly, fur.

Personality

Luster is... well, erratic might be the best word.

She seems to be a good mixture of both her stone giver, and her life giver. If one only spends time with her in small amounts, they will likely assume she takes after Onye. From one minute to another, she can go from quiet and sweet, playing with a Lesser Gembound, and then suddenly be absolutely furious, snarling and frothing and snapping in your face, easily mistaken for a rapid Gembound.

However, she only really intends to do good, and can best be described as Chaotic Good. She thinks she is doing good, but is very easily manipulated, tricked into doing evil when she thinks she is helping. Attacking a Gembound for no reason? It was glaring at someone! Stealing a meal? Well, another Gembound needed it more!

When she is more lucid, however, she will rather resemble Amazon when she was young. This can be glimpsed even when she is not so lucid, although it's a bit harder to see. She is easily excited, and sees the wonder in everything. Luster will be incredibly enthusiastic about... well, everything. Catching a butterfly? You can bet that she'll catch ten! And she is incredibly desperate for acceptance, trying to find someone who will accept her, care for her, see her as a friend, despite her rather frequent breaks from reality.

However, there are some similarities between the two. No matter how lucid she is, her speech is choppy, and often rambled, a simple stream of consciousness. This lessons when she is lucid, but never quite goes away. She falls into fits of laughter with little to no provocation, and often at rather inappropriate times. Her emotions don't work as others would, either. Some are very dulled, while others are far too strong, and which emotions feel like which can change by the day.
