Appearance

Soon: A strange mix between a canine and something sinister, Lux is a spotted hyena without any notable features to date at first glance. Lux’s head is wedge-shaped, a thick muzzle and nose going into her crown, rounded ears atop her head. Her mane-trimmed spine slants a bit, the bottom part of her body appearing to be lower than her front half due to it. A bit pudgy in appearance, she’s rather healthy, with thickening muscles as she grows older. There is not much about her that could be considered delicate, a feral and strange creature by appearance.

Her main coat is a sandy light tan color over her entire body, broken up all over by dark black patches and spots, more coming to be visible as time goes on. While her core is the sandy brown, the color tapers and fades down into the same dark brown as her spots towards her legs, completely engulfing them in dark towards the bottom. Her muzzle is also pointed with the dark brown color, echoing her legs.

Lux’s eyes don’t stand out, a brown hue in a sea of her brown coat, nothing to be seen of value. An obsidian stone is embedded into her hip, mostly under the skin except for a small round part that sticks out. At first glance, her stone appears to be just another spot unless you look at it from the right angle.

Personality

From the very beginning, she will be rather fearless, a boundless ball of energy who will want to go everywhere and do everything. Her curiosity for the world around her is rather unquenchable, pushing her to explore to the edges of her own limits, even to the point where she could easily get herself in trouble. She’ll have a strong desire to collect things that interest her, even if she gets bored with them and abandons them later when something more interesting comes along. Rinse and repeat.

There is little that can stand in her way of what she wants, which will bring her to being rather pushy. It may appear that all Lux cares about is herself and what she wants, and though she will come to care about few others before herself with time, hopefully, she definitely will put herself over those she doesn’t know—from little tasks, to more serious life and death matters. She’s not afraid to fight dirty if it comes to that, either, and it will be a sad day for those who end up facing her wrath over time.

Despite everything, a streak in her will always be a social creature. Picky about who she associates with, she will become attached to those who are worthy of her time, even obsessively at points.
