Singing Voice (Cree Summers):

As a cub she is little more than the size of a large kitten but she will grow to be quite larger, just under the average size of a full grown lioness. Even as a cub she is a bit petite and this will carry over to when she's an adult. Her legs are long and her form sleek and slender. It will lend her great speed and agility when she runs though not so much strength in fights. It's clear, even now, that she has a feminine figure but it will only get more obvious as she grows.

Ky's fur is soft and short and in the colder parts of the cave don't lend her much protection but it is a blessing in the warmer and more humid parts. The color of her coat is a pretty golden-brown akin to the that of the sun that she has never known. On the back of her neck is a small ruff of fur that refuses to be groomed down. She has a distinctive gray stripe below her left eye as if that part of her forgot to be colored.

Ky's eyes are a clear blue that match the color of her gem. Her gem is an aquamarine that's teardrop shaped and set slightly above but in between her eyes like a third eye. Whenever she uses magic her eyes and gem start to glow, the more intense the magic the harsher the glow.

She has four slightly slanted vertical scars (claw marks) on her chest from a play fight with Leon. --old but still visible if one looks hard enough.
Scarring on her throat from when Arkrael tried to kill her.

She has learned much in her life from when she was a young gembound just emerging into the caves to most recently when she thought she lost her husband and entire family. Now Ky is far less naive than she used to be. She doesn't expect good from others but hopes for it all the same. There is evil in the caves, there always has been and always will be, but she will not stoop down to the level of the evil if she can help it. She knows she's done terrible things in the past, things she will never be able to make up for but she can't dwell on them. The only thing she can do is work forward and hope that she has learned from her mistakes and will do better in the future.

Ky hates to see others hurt and will do all she can to help the sick, injured, or those lost in despair. She would give her life if only she could ensure that others would be okay. Oozing with goodwill and charisma she does what she can to make the caves a better place. She is a firm believer in justice and though part of her core values have been shaken she still believes in the law but can be possibly be swayed if enough evidence points differently. She tries not to believe blindly as she once did as that only burns bridges and hurts in the long run.

Quiet and observant. Ky much prefers to sit in the background and observe things as they happen. This can go for watching others too. This little lioness comes off as shy because she usually doesn't say much as it's much more fun to watch others interact rather than take part herself. Even when around friends or alone with one other she prefers to follow along in the conversation rather than lead unless a subject of interest is breached or she has questions that need to be answered. However, when meeting someone new or around friends she can be a bit talkative a trait learned from her friend Leon. This cat can be quiet when the need arises as she tends to be a good listener, silent when need be and giving thoughtful answers when the time comes.

The expression "curiosity killed the cat" fits her quite well. Ky just can't keep her nose out of new or interesting things and could investigate new items all day long. The problem with this is poking your nose into someone else's business or investigating something potentially dangerous can be bad. Her downfall might come from her curiosity one day.

Ky's curiosity stems from the fact that she is quite intelligent. Whether that is due to her magic or just because she was born that way is up to debate. However, the brain she has in her head is easily used to solve problems and think of new innovative solutions. Ky actually loves thinking over new things and trying to reach solutions to puzzles, it's a favorite pastime of hers alongside playing with friends. Ky sometimes takes too long with mulling things over and the moment for action may have passed before she finally gets around to acting. Of course, if she's around influential gembounds then they just be be able to influence her decision and make her act quicker... Ky isn't the most assertive gembound out there.

Sometimes Ky can be a bit of a pushover, especially when it comes to her friends. When she needs to speak the loudest to let her thoughts and ideas be heard she has a tendency to quiet down, especially when her friends don't want to hear something contrary to their own plans.

Through RP: Where she was once quiet this girl has come into her own. She isn't afraid to go up to others and introduce herself so that she can make new friends. However, she still has a problem with speaking her mind all the time and sometimes finds herself getting shut down in arguments. However, once she's had enough of something she's had enough and will stand up for herself. This takes [i]a lot[/i] before it happens though and she'll usually sit in the background and observe rather than take part in an argument.

Even though it might be good that she stands up for herself in an argument she still feels guilty about it later and could easily be guilt tripped. She only wants to see everyone else happy even at the expense of her own happiness. Whenever around others if someone is upset or even in normal situations you can find her with a kind smile and a kind, maybe funny word to say to lighten the mood.

Ky is still rather naive and easy to trust others and give them the benefit of the doubt even when they don't deserve it. She's also very tender-hearted and prone to feeling intensely when she's hurt someone else's feelings. She hates to be the cause of someone else's troubles and will allow guilt to eat her from the inside out until it is resolved.

After being lost in the shadows for cycles and losing all contact with her family things have changed with the once-cheery Songcat. This girl believes all of her family is dead, dead or have abandoned her because of the taint left behind by the caves. Since coming out of the shadows she learned a hard lesson... the new order is kill or be killed. She knows this because even in the heat of the moment in her fight with Arkrael she couldn't pull away and keep from mauling one of her best friends to death. Even she, someone she liked to think of as a law-abiding cat, is not safe from the evil inside and if she isn't safe... no one is.

Everyone is a monster it's just a matter of time before these tendencies show.

So what to do about these tendencies? This lioness believes there is nothing to be done... You only have to live and if the urges take you, they take you. The caves spare no one. Still, to keep herself safe --because despite the fact that she is a monster she still wants to live-- she leans on the law of being strong. To be strong means yo do what it takes to survive and she will teach this to new and old alike.

Once she taught love and acceptance... now she teaches strength and willpower.
