Appearance

Before you is quite simply: A creature of the swamp.

A terror of those who dare get too close, Merrow is only half the size of most alligators. She is still a hefty six feet in length, but most of that is tail. Her wing span is twelve feet of leathery hide. Unsurprisingly, she looks like a mix between a bat and an alligator, though she takes after her godfather with her bright, pink piggy nose.

Appearing a bit like a bat at the front half, she has soft, plush brown fur that is often slick against her skin due to the bog water she's in basically all of the time. She has dark eyes, and small little spiked scales that poke out of her skull and trail down her spine. Her tongue is as black as her spikes, and she has a huge pair of wings with clumsy hands at the joints. Her belly is covered in larger, smooth scales, which eventually form into her long alligator tail. Aside from her tail and her wings, she has no other limbs to speak of-- unbeknownst to anyone (aside from her smol dad) the child's gem resides in her pelvis, and during growth the stone prevented her hind legs from forming.

Merrow is constantly seen either smiling, screaming, or sticking her tongue out.

Personality

To say that Merrow is reckless would be putting it lightly. To say that she invited danger to come and feast on her flesh would be more accurate-- this child is like most babies once they learn how to locomote. It appears that Merrow is doing her damnest to try and off herself at any opportunity, whether it be setting herself on fire, throwing herself into fires, or launching herself into other gembound's teeth or other inappropriate areas. She seems to have no gauge for temperature or pain, or if she does, she apparently enjoys burning flesh.

That all being said, there is one thing that the violent, danger prone winged noodle does enjoy in a calm, reasonable fashion. She loves the water. This half alligator spends as much time in water as she does on fire and it's not surprising to see why. She is a fantastic swimmer, often challenging her brother to diving competitions. She loves eating fish and bugs and other amphibians, and especially loves showing off a mouth full of food to anyone who gets too close when she's eating.

All in all, Merrow is an enthusiastic, gross baby who doesn't know that death is a permanent state of being and doesn't care either.
