Appearance

OCEAN, WIDE EXPANSE OF WATER, DEEP SEA

As a child, Moana is still fairly large, measuring 8 feet long from nose to tail and weighing in at a whopping 400 pounds. They have the most common markings a killer whale can have, complete with the iconic combination of a tar black pelt dashed by a white eyepatch and stomach. These features may become marred in the future, as the larger they grow, the harder it will be to travel without scraping through the tunnels that connect the caves of Origin. However, at this size, she has little to no problem with traversing the underwater tunnels.

When they reach adulthood, Moana will have reached 25 feet in length, and weigh in at a menacing 4 tons of blubber and fangs. Thankfully, they're a total sweetheart, and those many teeth will most likely stay pearly white, unmarred by anything but fish guts. At this massive size, however, she will be rather spectacularly scraped up with small nicks and scars, thanks to how tight the tunnels have become.

Considering their adoration of anything shiny or pretty, Moana will most likely end up carrying an assortment of baubles and knick knacks, perhaps in some sort of sack or bag. These trinkets may include shells, glowing items, bits of pretty rock or pottery, and other odds and ends.

Moana's gem is a shining moonstone, which replaces the top half of her breastbone. Hopefully, no one will ever see it. On the other hand, everyone can see their eyes; instead of the usual pools of black possessed by most killer whales, Mo's eyes are a pale grey, streaked with flashes of electric blue, almost identical to their gemstone - except for the addition of pupils, of course.

Personality

BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

BUBBLY. If anyone could be described as happy-go-lucky, it would be Moana. They're the epitome of looking on the bright side, and seek to bring only joy and kindness to the caves. Newborn needs help? Mo will be there! Someone trying to attack her? Have you had a bad day, friend?

SCATTERBRAINED. Although Mo can remember important events or skills, she has trouble with smaller things... like names and faces, at times. Others might have to introduce themselves multiple times to get her to recall them consistently.

HARDY. Moana can take a beating and bounce back, be it physical or emotional. Not much seems to bother them, even if the barbs come from close friends or family. Indeed, one could even call Moana cold or closed-off, in this respect.

HONEST. To the point of cruelty, at times. Mo has no concept of lying or deceit, and simply cannot manage to lie, even when it might be beneficial to her or someone else.

POD ANIMAL. To be truly happy, Moana has to be in the company of others, be they land or sea creature. If they are left alone for too long, she may become desolate and depressed, roaming absently until such a time as their family returns.
