Size: 5ft. long

Appearance

An unbalanced creature. A duality and singularity in one. Two heads and a single body.

At their core, the two are still a royal python. They're the same size as a royal python, their patterns and colours mostly align with their assigned python heritage. But, they've changed over the cycles, mutated into something recognisable and something completely new.

One half remains the spitting image of a royal python, murky browns, dark stripes and splotchy patterns, dark eyes and soft, puppy-like facial features. The only obscurity being the deep scarring across their nose, scales ripped away leaving a weak layer of skin that does nothing to hit the pinkish flesh below. Whiteish scarring knits the scales around the wound back together, though not quite into the perfect patterns they once were. A little 'gift' from Nemean many cycles ago.

The other half has strayed from their python heritage. Opting instead for the sharp, pointed features of a viper. Complete with the snubby, heart shaped head. It's patterns and soft browns have long been erased for a striking white and red. All a very clear message to nearby fauna 'stay away'. Gone is the soft mouth of the python, replaced by the needle thin fangs of the viper, though they lack the venom. What were fins have become spines intended to enhance the 'go away, I'm dangerous' effect.

Together, their body is a Frankenstein patchwork of the two, natural colours stopped abruptly by swaths of pure white. A piebald, some may be able to identify. Though the brown patterned coat seems to take up the majority of the body, giving off the idea that this is the one in control. This is the one that has the most body.

Their gemstone sits within the seam where their necks meet, just up on their back, opposed to wedging the two apart. It is has a crystalline quality clearness to it, tinged with a brilliant sanguine red.

Personality

Mordecai

Mordecai is the left head and appears to be a lot more intelligent than his brother. The head is more hesitant to go into a situation without thinking it through first and he'd seemingly rather sun himself somewhere laze around in trees than go on the "adventures" his literal head mate seems to enjoy so much. Morty seems to be one of short temper, he often snaps at his brother and seems to get almost genuine enjoyment out of putting Henry down.

Make no mistake though, Mordecai loves his brother from the bottom of his heart, which they just so happen to share.

Heinrich

Heinrich, or Henry as he usually calls himself (much to Mordecais disappointment) is his brothers polar opposite. While Mordecai is thoughtful and careful, Henry is mentally slow. He doesn't seem to be very good at speaking, especially when it comes to names - he tends to shorten them to make it easier for him to say it, but it also could be considered an act of affection. Once again, his brother disapproves.

While Mordecai is very hesitant in his affections, there is no doubt that Henry loves anyone and everyone he meets, but there is a love for his brother that goes so much deeper than his rather casual affections for his friends.
