Appearance

This female looks like a weird mix between a zebra and giraffe. But in truth, she is neither of these things. She is what is known as an Okapi, and her species is closely related to the giraffe. The base of her pelt is a dark brown, as is her tail with the tip of her tail being a plain brown cream color. Her back legs have what look like zebra stripes, with the lower part being completely white. The top of her head is a brown red-ish color. White covers the rest of her face, with her mouth colored dark brown. Her front legs have a white and dark brown pattern with white swirls. Her ears are big and her tail is short, but not too short, ending with a tuft at the tip. Muzrothun has a very long dark blue prehensile tongue, which is long enough to wrap around leaves that are out of reach, wash her face including her nose and eyes, and groom herself. She has natural scent glands on their feet that spread sticky, tar-like territory markings to alert others of their region. When she hatches, she will be a pretty tall calf. Her eyes are the color of a deep black.

At four cycles as an adult she will become a larger and much taller version of herself. She will weigh 770 pounds and stand at an impressive 5.6 feet at the shoulder. Her tongue will be 18 inches long. She will walk with pure elegance and pride.

Personality

Muzrothun loves to eat and will spend a lot of her time doing so. Okapis naturally eat leaves, buds, grasses, ferns, fruit, fungi, fruits, berries, other plant parts, shoots and twigs. Eating is important for her, not to mention very tasty. She also eats reddish clay that provides her with essential salt and minerals.

This okapi loves to run. Running is fun, especially when you can do so at 37 miles per hour. She will also run from gembounds and creatures she feels is a great threat. She will even run to get somewhere quicker.

As an okapi, she has advanced hearing, which she will use for multiple purposes.

She will use her long prehensile tongue to clean her eyes, nose, and wherever else on her face that needs cleaning. She loves to clean up, and keep clean and well groomed. She will also use it to grab food.

She is adventurous, a true explorer. She sees the caves as her true home. Since the caves are her home, she wishes to find and reveal the secrets, lore and history behind these caves. Each secret is mystical, and interesting to find out. She will also like to interact with others. Not only that, she loves to observe nature and it's beautiful scenery it all has to offer.

This okapi holds the element of the arcane, a wizard who has the ability to see the things others cannot see. The power to tap into something that is so magical, it's a power that is wonderful to use for her. Secrets can be brought into the light. Those with the arcane magic, have the ability to see the hidden magical truth, and so much more.

She is very intelligent, and will become even more intelligent at 4 cycles. She loves to learn all she can, and has a thirst for knowledge. Knowledge is a gift, and meant to be used. As a young calf, she is smarter than she looks.

She will hold great pride in her species and her looks. Muzrothun is self confident, and admires her unique and distinct features, each and every detail.

Loyalty is earned not given. She will trust you if you prove yourself, as not every creature in the caves are kind.

At four cycles as an adult she will be an elegant Okapi with smooth curves outlining her form. She will be very protective over any of her blood children whom she gives her life force or stone to. She will be ready to give her life to protect their lives. Her motherly instincts will be strong as unbreakable stone. She will carry herself with power and beauty, the likes of which show her adult pride. Muzrothun will have become completely independent as the adult gembound she is, ready to stand on her own four hooves as a grown okapi.
