Appearance
Narcissus is very canine-like, with a long muzzle and overall build of a lean canine. The similarities stop there, however. He has very long ears with a pointy tip, and his tail is another thing entirely. It’s smooth, with an almost rubber-like texture, and has almost no fur. It’s black and white, striped. He has an abundance of fur on the top of his head and down to the middle of his back, as well as some bunched up around the base of his tail.
Narcissus has very interesting colors. The majority of his fur is a very dark gray, with black along his back and down his shoulders, coming to a stop at his front paws, where it gives in to white. His back paws also have white tips, and small black stripes some ways above, below the joint. He also has a little white on the bottom of his chin. There is fur on the top of his head down to the middle of his back and bunched up around the base of his tail that is a very bright cyan. He also has a tiny bit of this fur on his tail, and some on his chest. There’s also some stripes, one thick followed by one thin, on his front paws at the elbow. His tongue, claws, and inside of his ears are also this color. His gem, chrysoprase, is located in his mouth. It replaces his top right canine tooth, and seems to blend in partially, as it is similar to the color of his tongue. No matter what age he is, his voice is raspy, as if he hasn't used it in a long time. His eyes are white. Personality
Narcissus, almost as if his name had predicted it, is very narcissistic. He believes that there is no one better than him, and will not shy away from saying this belief. While young, his narcissism hasn’t had much of a chance to manifest within himself, but as he grows older, he’ll start to believe that he is simply the best. If someone says otherwise, he’ll cut them off and insist he is the best, all the while becoming more annoyed. He’s arrogant, which fits along with his narcissism. He thinks he’s the most important gembound in the caves. He’s quick to interrupt someone if he deems it important enough, and will likely ignore the other for some time. He’s also got a temper. It doesn’t take much to make him angry, and he will go off on you if you annoy him even the slightest. His long tail is often seen flicking slightly in annoyance. He’s also not afraid to get into a fight, believing that he’ll win every time, no matter his skill level and lack of experience. When he goes and causes trouble, he claims to be the victim, despite being the one to cause trouble in the first place. He’ll insist it’s not his fault, and actually believes it isn’t. When someone insists otherwise, he’ll wave off their words and continue to say it’s not his fault. History
