Appearance

Like most feline infants, Njeri is mostly composed of oversized paws, ears and eyes. Her compact figure is sheathed in a plush tawny coat, interspersed with specks of brown as an ancestral attempt at camouflage. While it may once have helped her predecessors in the dried grasses of the savanna, it is merely a touch of cuteness here. The spots grow more concentrated the farther back you go, darkening her tail to a light brown right before reaching her stone. The Pink Zoisite forms an oval on the tip of her tail, almost like a little club. At this age, Njeri is not yet strong enough to hoist it aloft, causing the her tail and the stone to drag along the ground when she moves. Because of this, the bottom of the textured stone will be slightly smoothed by the time she begins to mature.

Any creature that she meets while a cub will probably quickly become acquainted with the pink of her paws and nose, and probably end up close enough to both to notice the black freckling on each. Her extremely inquisitive gaze is pale gold in coloration and is framed by dramatic black liner and long feminine eyelashes.

Personality

ACTIVE | Always on the go and never content to sit still, Njeri would always rather be doing something than sitting idle. Even when resting she finds something to play with, and no stone, insect or mildly shiny object is safe from her paws.

CURIOUS | Njeri's nose is always into something, whether it be a new creatures face or a curious plant. She always wants to know the how and the why of things.

EMPATHETIC | Sensitive to other's emotions, Njeri always wants to be there for others. She's quick to pick up on moods and inflections, even if she doesn't understand the words or their textbook meaning.

FRIENDLY | Given a choice, Njeri would gladly befriend everyone in the caves. The world has not yet soured her optimistic view that everyone wants to be her friend and she projects her friendliness everywhere she goes. She will not find holding grudges easily, and would much rather work it out over a spirited wrestling match than to hold onto it and stew.

OUTGOING | A lack of fear and a general desire to befriend any living creature she sees leads Njeri to approach anyone, and anything, whenever the whim strikes her.
