Appearance

As a young flamingo, their feathers are gray. As they grow older, their feathers will slowly turn into pink. By the time they reach the age of 4 cycles, their feathers will take on a beautiful pink color, and will cause them to be quite noticeable. Their legs are long, and also pink. Their face is white, starting from the eyes and going down to the beak, which is black.

Nyekundu is very tall, with long legs, a fairly large body, and a very long neck. They walk with a style of elegance, long legs walking carefully and often slowly. Their voice is rather low, and they tend to speak each word with the same amount of pronunciation and elegance. They also tend to talk slowly and carefully.

Their wings are pink with black along the edges. The black can only be seen when their wings are open. Their wingspan is 3.2 feet long. Fully grown, Nyekundu will reach a height of about 100 centimeters tall. Their gem is ametrine, and protrudes just a little bit from the top part of their beak. It closely resembles a yellow and purple dot on their beak. The gem has strips of yellow and purple.

Personality

Nyekundu is a very majestic flamingo. They walk with their head held high, and step carefully. They can also be described as rather elegant. They walk with a careful poise. Nyekundu is very courteous, and tends to show respect for all, regardless of what age they may be. They don’t really ever take risks, and will try to tell others not to take risks either. If such a need arises, they may take a risk, however.

Nyekundu is very calm, and never raises their voice unless they get extremely riled up. They will help those that are younger see something in a more logical way if needed. They are very honest, however will occasionally lie. For the most part, they are very trusting. They will trust just about anyone they come across. This can sometimes lead to problems for them. They are very nurturing, and will help take care of younger gembounds. Nyekundu is very sympathetic, and will do whatever they can to help someone.

They are very social, and will talk with just about anyone. They are not very observant, and can also be a tad dense at times, especially when it comes toward emotions. Nyekundu will often have no idea about how one might feel about them, and may react a bit rude towards someone without realizing it.
