Appearance

As a little Gemling, Onyekachukwu is definitely strange looking. She could be mistaken for a dog pup of some sort, or maybe a coyote. Her paws seem too large for a cub, and her legs much too long, leaving her stumbling around in an attempt at keeping her balance. She has long, bristly fur with seemingly no rhyme or reason to the markings. It is almost impossible to tell whether her fur is grey or brown, and there are seemingly random patches of it that are black. There is a black mask on her face, turning her muzzle dark and creating a Raccoon-like mask over her eyes. She has over-sized ears, and beady black-brown eyes. Her crystal is unrefined, a bright red that sticks out from her forehead jaggedly.

Once she has grown, some order comes to her appearance. Her fur becomes more brown than grey, and the dark patches have become black stripes. There is a large patch of black fur on the back of her neck, turning into a rough mane that seems to be constantly in a state of arousal. Her tail is largely black, fading into brown as it nears her hindquarters. She has grown into her ears, although they still look oddly large, like any Aardwolf's. Her back will slope like a hyena's, her hind legs shorter than her fore. She will weigh in at twenty pounds, and will be forty inches from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail, and will stand just under two feet at the shoulder.

Personality

It is incredibly hard to describe Onyekachukwu's personality, as she doesn't have a defined one. One minute, she can be quiet and sweet, playing with a young Gemling, and the next she is furious and rabid, snarling and frothing at her mouth. However, she never means ill, and would never do anything bad - on purpose, that is. Onyekachukwu can best be described as Chaotic Good. Everything she does, she believes to be done for the benefit of others. Attacking a Gembound out of nowhere? Well, it had been glaring at the other Gembound! It was planning on attacking them! Stealing a Gembound's meal? Well, the Gembound who asked her to take it needed it more, they looked rather skinny! Unfortunately, as desperate as she is to help, she becomes far too easy to manipulate, or trick into causing trouble.

Any interaction with you, and you can tell she is not all there. What she says is often choppy, and doesn't make much sense. In fact, she named herself by spewing the first sounds she could think of, and then stitching those together into a name. She bursts into laughter with little provacation, often for little or no reason, and even more often at inappropriate times. She doesn't feel emotions like others should, either. Some she feels far too strong, while others she hardly feels at all, leading in her to act on the emotions she can feel, while desperately trying to feel the ones she cannot.
