Deep in the bowels of Fornax, a creature the size of an infant human child has come to be. It looks nothing like anything on land, with a long, thick body composed of shades of navy, cerulean, and silver. Primarily a pale blue, a dark strip of midnight races across its back, fading into silver at the center.It has a mouth, filled to the brim with serrated teeth that lock together like a zipper and would make quick work of any flesh it gets its jaws on. Where one might expect eyes, there is only a shimmering piece of forgotten starlight. What might have once been an eye appears to be the dark abyss of the night sky, trapped with hundreds of brilliant stars shining underneath. In fact, all along the smooth skin of this underwater beast appears to be scattered star dust, a soft sprinkle of silver glistening across its entire body.

Besides the teeth, however, so far the being sounds rather... pleasant? A being made of starlight, shimmering deep beneath the surface... Yet this creature is one with the void as well as the light. Alas, along its long body, what might be fins grow out of its length. The largest set towards its mouth, and two more sets that get increasingly small. If they were fins, of course, one would simply think this beast a fish-- but nay. The limbs end in dozens of finger like tentacles, and if this creature is allowed to feast on it's favorite meal-- deadly, poisonous jellyfish-- a concentrated venom will seep through the skin at their darkened tips. It's hard to tell at a distance, especially where it usually lives, but anything to get close enough to it with ample lighting will find that this creature is slightly translucent, and in fact, seemingly rather squishy.

Although this creature is probably little more than a foot long at birth, it will grow to rival the size of a great white shark, somewhere between fifteen and twenty feet.
