Appearance

Since rehatching from his chrysalis, Othello almost looks like a completely dofferent gembound if it wasn't for his coat. It remains a greyscaled version of a typical maned wolf having black on his muzzle, lower legs, and a stripe down his neck. White covers his throat with a black outline from his muzzle. His underside, the tip of his tail, and the insides of his ears are also white.

As far as his structure goes, that's where most of the change is seen. He was once a tall man, though his legs have shrunk (his front legs more so than his hind legs) now and he rides barely above the ground. Although his hind legs are longer when stretched out, they fold to carry his back half at the same height as his front half. His front arms have grown apposable thumbs making it easier for him to place his weight and hold things. His body alone is nearly twice the length it once was as well as his neck. His body seems structurally sound, however his longer neck has arched a bit backwards to hold his head correctly. His tail, once short and thin, is now thick and muscular. It alone is the length of his body, nose to butt, when stretched out fully. With as muscular as it is, it allows him to sit upright on his butt with amazing balance. It thickens more towards the end and drags behind him when he walks, however. His ears, once erect, now flop down however retained their shape. His coat has also lengthened in places, particularly around his chin and nape. He now has a small beard and hair similar to a flattening mohawk.

His stone, raw tanzanite, grows from his back, mostly, but one could argue it's his butt. Spikes of the raw gem grown tallest near his spine and shorten as they wrap towarsd his hips before fading. Being in the subcutaneous layer, he can move freely with his stone, but he does suffer some back pain from carrying the weight of the stone as well as occasionally having a difficult time getting comfortable.

Personality

INTELLIGENT | QUIET | CURIOUS | GENTLE | STUBBORN | SELFISH | KLEPTO Othello has always been known for his intelligence and silence, though not many know him anymore. Abandoned by those he trusted and loved, he fell into a depression that lasted many cycles and inevitably returned him to his chrysalis to rest. He remains the same aesthetically, but he did get a good nap at least.

Nothings really changed since Othello walked the caves all those cycles ago. If anything, he's a little more reclusive than before, actually choosing to stay away from others at first. It'll be hard for Othello to make friends, finding it difficult to let anyone in, but his selectively silent nature won't make it any easier anyway. At least he's finally learned Telepathy enough to sort of have a conversation...

Unfortunately, his time alone never really taught him manners. Othello is slightly stubborn, well really stubborn actually. If he doesn't want to do it, he won't. He also tends to be pretty selfish these days, especially with things he's fond of. He becomes attached easily, to gembounds and inanimate objects alike, and has been known to even steal things he really wants. Despite this, he's quite gentle and slow moving. Choosing only to fight when it's important to, his magick is better spent huffing spores and claiming to see things others cannot.
