Appearance
Philip the Great Pyrenees dog weighs in at 119lbs and 31 inches tall as fully grown adult. He tends to lumber about like a bear and as he does not realize his own strength and size. He posses a functioning male reproductive system. His eyes are burnt umber brown, which can seem black in low light conditions. His pelt is entirely white. His paw undersides, nose, lips, tongue, and inside of his mouth are completely coal colored, leaving the inside of his ears a soft Easter pink color. His tail length is the height of his hips, so when standing, the tips of his tail fur when fully relaxed touch the ground. His tail is quite articulated and he often waves it about in an 'S' shape. His paws are hefty, being around the same size as an adult human's palm (extinct). His knees are the same size, giving him a body shape of stocky. His fur is like lambskin, and extremely soft. From his forehead to his hips, his fur is mostly straight, but along his back to his waist, his thick double-coat of fur is wavy and quickly progresses into fine curls. Twice a year he molts to accommodate the changing season. Personality
Philip isn't the brightest crayon in the box. When taught a lesson, he nods his head with understanding, but under testing does whatever he wants to. Even if punishment follows, the situation is the same, and he does the thing he's not supposed to because he wants to. In this manner and many others, he is quite a stubborn fellow. He does not think before he acts, he simply reacts. He is a poor tactician and one of those unfortunate fellows who will forever be taunted by their poor word choices and actions in the heat of the moment. Surprisingly, Philip is quite capable of learning and being intelligent. Wherever it might benefit where he is presently interested, he will quietly soak up the knowledge presented (thanklessly) and put them into practice. But at any other situation, one would find better company and acknowledgment talking to a rock. But when it does benefit him, his entire attention span is solely focused on learning this new thing, and he learns swiftly and adeptly. His patience is much the same. Wherever it may benefit him, he possesses an infinite wealth of undying patience; but otherwise, it's off to see the next shiny thing. Exploring new things is perhaps his greatest passion and aspiration in life (unfortunately!), but at the same time, he is content to sit and rest and watch the rest of the world go by. He is a very much in-the-moment kind of man, a young soul, eager to explore, happy to meet others, but indifferent to a lot of other needs that more sociable hearts may have. He tends to be more aloof and observant; he is someone who is perfectly content to make his own path in life and does not feel bothered by social norms or other peer pressures.
