Appearance

BIG ENOUGH TO CARRY THE CASH

Thick-billed ravens are characterized by their big, bold features. They are one of the largest birds in the corvid family, and the largest of the passerines. They are named after their bills, which are notably, and unsurprisingly, broad! Pratap does not shun a single one of these traits; no, rather he embodies and enjoys them. His size and prominent beak only add to his strength, after all, and strength is a very useful tool for Pratap.

DRESSED TO IMPRESS

What's a sharper look than simple, sleek black and white? Pratap, like most of raven kind, has his feathers, legs, and beak doused in that thick black charcoal paint that often makes them appear, in old poetry, like a bad omen in the skies they fly over. Particular to his brand of raven, however, is a little white dot placed on the back of the head, and an itty bitty fleck located at the very tip of the beak.

CLASSY GEMSTONE FASHION

Pratap's golden pallasite threads underneath the skin of the back of his neck, poking up again at certain intervals. It forms small, knobby horns wherever it breaches the skin's surface. Due to this placement, to an onlooker it may appear as though Pratap has a collar of little wobbly (unconnected) horns peppering the back of his neck.

Pratap's eyes are aglow with the same ruddy red as the nubs on his neck. Fire, scantly restrained.

Personality

SLOW TONES; THE DRIPPING OF MOLASSES

Pratap is not sweet by nature, but he sure does try to talk like it. With slow, conscious words and scatterings of darlings, dears, and other such pet names, Pratap hopes to sway those with whom he speaks to his side. He wishes to slow others, to lull them into that sleepy, complacent mood, so that when he strikes, he can take what he wants without struggle...

A CROWN OF MADNESS UPON HIS HEAD

If Pratap is guilty of one vice and one vice only, then that vice, above all others, is GREED. Pratap thrives on possession, of all sorts. Of any sort. Whatever he wants, he should own, and he will do what he must to take it. Pratap is meek and decisive, however; he will not try to start a fight where there doesn't need to be one, and prefers the easiest option in getting what he craves.

LUXURY

Pratap is the indulgent sort. He seeks riches with no meaning, simply for the sake of having them. To be prosperous and full is what he desires, but for what purpose? Not even he is truly sure, but when asked, he might only give a single response: luxury.
