Appearance

Pulse is a small, fluffy Sugar Glider who possesses rather stubby limbs on herself. The colour on the backside of her fur is taupe brown in colour and she has a tail which at the end of it, is tipped with a dark greyish reddish brown accent on it. The front of her fur which is usually not seen much unless she's gliding is a silky brownish cream in colour. Another thing that is on her front, due to being a Sugar Glider on Pulse's front there is a gliding membrane called a patagium which can extend from her wrists to her ankles when she stretches it out to be granted the ability to glide for a little bit, using her tail to steer her direction & balance somewhat. The ears she has are grayish brown and small in size, whilst her head has a creamy shade, the patterns and patches on her head are the same taupe brown, her muzzle has small pink nose and has quite a few whiskers around it. Her paws are peach pink in colour and lastly her Kyanite extends out sideways looking like a spike, making her look asymmetrical a little over how it's only one one side.

Personality

On the front and first impression others will have of Pulse is that she is a quiet & closed-off shut-in who prefers to spend all her time on her own. If Pulse gets rendered no choice but to share a den or some space with another, then she'll try her best to ensure she stays out their way to make sure that they don't have to see her. Which generally will make her come off as an introvert to some, but in actuality, she actively longs for companionship and wishes to be loved by others. Pulse is more of an ambivert that leans towards the extrovert part of the spectrum deep down, or that's what the sugar glider wants to be. The reason why she is so anti-social though is that she has social anxiety, not a crippling one but she does have some hard time coping with some things because of it such as fearing social interactions, they can be draining for her. This social anxiety affects her self-esteem quite a bit, one reason why she doesn't try to interact with others, is because there's always thoughts in her mind telling her that she should just leave others alone because others will find her an utterly burdensome or a horrible friend to have. She inwardly knows that those thoughts are things she's only thinking to herself, but they always feel like to her like it's some voice in her head that nit-picks at her in regards to any interaction she had. Due to that this also means she is a bit panicky & erratic a little. Befitting her element since thunderstorms are unpredictable themselves for one being pretty apologetic for even small accidents and are slightly jumpy to big or loud noises, and so one better hope they don't yell/shout at her she'll get a little panicky from that.

When she does manage to make a close, trusted friend though, her ambivert side is shown towards them. Proving to be very loyal to the core & loving to them, and has shown to be very fond of affection and so she's very cuddly with her friends and appreciates one from them in return, she just loves them. Being around the ones she does trust immensely she's very playful and friendly with them and meeting with some particular friends she may develop some mischief. Funny enough with her close friends unlike with strangers who she tries her best to please and avoid being too burdensome towards, she isn't submissive with her friends if she thinks they're doing something wrong she will assert herself about it no matter how blunt. She's also protective of her friends too; she'll protect them from others. However, she tries to avoid being too impulsive, so she may try and be the mediator in regards to a conflict a friend has gotten into whether Pulse can try to deal with it calmly or if the glider has to be as blunt as she can be to see both sides then so be it. Due to some these traits do show she does have some spunk in her, her self-esteem issues may hold her back from that sometimes.

Befitting her species Pulse loves sweet things she can't get enough of them. It's a pleasant activity for her to do on her own or sharing with friends. Speaking of giving her something sweet can be one way to make her feel a little comfortable around someone, albeit she may have some personal requirements in accepting food from others due to the possibility of poisoned food, but it's something she loves to have nonetheless
