Appearance
Pumpkin is a small, plump and adorable little shrike, their feathers striped with different shades of grey, brown and black.
pumpkin is a very hyperactive bird, often fluttering around other gembounds heads. they like to perch on nearby long sticks or rocks, aswell as other gembounds antlers/horns/spikes. his voice is high pitched and cracks alot, but he sounds like a jolly good fellow! which he is! he often lets out loud shrieks of joy when something good happens when he talks he will often tilt his head around alot, getting better angles and views of the creatures and world around him. his gem is a small, teardrop shaped citrine and absolutely shiny as all can be. he takes much pride in it! he has a very tiny scratch on the underside of one of his wings which he's unsure where it came from his beak is a little cracked on the bottom, once again unsure of how it happened, but it tends to hurt and itch alot, so he's often seen scratching at his beak like a cat would, or using his wing to rub at it from time to time, giving off the impression he's thinking really hard. Pumpkin is one heck of an adventurer, thats for sure. despite their lack of experience they fly into things head-on with confidence 10x bigger than he is. he is also selfless, almost heroic in nature, coming to help anybody he can at his own expense, willing to die for his closest companions.
he's also incredibly kind, they comfort others almost naturally and always have an arsenal of encouraging words and phrases and doesn't mind giving hugs, small as he is! overall, pumpkin is a reliable friend, head-strong in his beliefs and a helpful supporter. he knows he's small, but he will never let that get in the way of the fact he is working to make the caves a better place, for himself and his friends! though, he is often stubborn, and firm in his beliefs, wrong or not. he will argue for them until his final breaths, and is VERY loud when doing so. infact, he's loud in general, always wanting to be heard! if you wont listen, he just has to be even louder! his words are important! he's honestly just trying his very best, guys! hes gonna work hard and not let fear stand in his way of doing good for others. not ever!
