Appearance

As a cub, Reign will not look like much but, when gazed upon, one will get the feeling that they are looking at something that will one day be great. He will look like any cheetah cub - fuzzy and chubby, with a rounded stomach and pudgy figure. His fur is an odd tan-orange-brown in color, covered in numerous black dots up to his neck. His head is largely markingless, aside from the trade-mark tear-tracks of a Cheetah. His eyes, while large and gleaming gold, are shrewd and calculating, belonging to a Gembound many Cycles older than he. His Gem circles around his head, sitting like a circlet, the beginnings of a crown. Its a handsome amber in color, one that matches his fur without clashing.

From Cycles two to three, he will look like a yearling. No longer is he chubby and rounded, but is instead long and lanky. His legs are seemingly too long for his body, and his skin is stretched tight over his bones. His paws are too big, his tail as well. His fur begins to clear up, revealing the black spots on his fur that are a bit larger than most Cheetah's. His Gem has grown, beginning to grow upward in jagged spikes, the beginnings of a crown.

Shortly after reaching his fourth Cycle, Reign will truly have grown into himself. He reaches three feet at his shoulder, and wighs one hundred and sixty pounds. However, he does not look like most Cheetahs. His spots are larger than most, and many bleed together into stripes and various shapes. Down his back run three stripes, which meld together with his markings. His underside is rather fluffy, and he has a mane of sorts between his shoulder blades, all black, bristling hairs. His eyes are no longer so large, instead fitting in just so. His Gem, however, is eye-catching. Having reach its full size, it will look like a crown, resting on his head. Not too large, or too small, it looks to have been created by the finest of hands.

Personality

{Regal:}
Even from the time he is little more than a tiny, scrappy little cub, Reign will emanate a sense of regality. He feels to be a natural born king, or prince, and when he speaks, one feels the urge to listen, and listen well. His words are eloquent, flowery and ancient feeling. He feels ancient, as though he wore born to the Caves long, long ago, no matter how old he is.

{Proud:}
Reign is undeniably proud. His head is always held high, his posture always perfect. No matter what anyone says, he does not allow it to bother him. He may think on it, use it to improve himself, or others, but will not allow it to put him down.

{Unflappable:}
Nothing bothers Reign. Like a lighthouse in a storm, he stands strong against any trouble. He allows nothing to trouble him, allowing him to deal with things with a clear head.

{Courageous:}
Reign is brave, there is no denying that. He doesn't cower or kow-tow to someone attempting to threaten him or his, and won't hesitate to fight if he must.

{Strategist:}
Reign has a quick-thinking, forward planning mind. Like a Chessmaster, he plans ten steps ahead. He has back-up plans, and has back-up plans for his back-up plans, and has backup plans for those back-up plans. He doesn't do anything until he has it planned it, not wanting to be blind-sided or taken by surprise.

{Leader:}
This King Cheetah is a natural born leader. Commanding others, and keeping them safe, comes to him as naturally as swimming comes to a fish. He is caring without being suffocating, protective without coddling others, and generous without making others reliant on him.
