Appearance

Reseda is a huge komodo dragon with thick green scales and a number of small peridot shards protruding in spikes around her left eye. They attach together just around the inside of that eye, which will cause vision problems later in her life and will give that eye a green sheen. The other eye is completely black with very little shine. She's got thick, sturdy legs that are well suited to keep her stable and well-balanced. Her walk may seem awkward, but she is capable of sprinting quite fast for a short period of time. In early life, she likes to use her claws for climbing, but as she grows bigger, she prefers to use them for digging, making hollows and tunnels for her to rest and sleep in. They're also extremely dangerous in a fight, delivering huge, powerful, sometimes deadly slashes. Sometimes, while fighting, she may stand up on her hind legs and use her tail for support. This allows her to do body slams and swipes from above, but does leave her stomach open. However, that stomach is just as thick with scales as the rest of her body. Her voice is low, but rather smooth considering her size and appearance.

When Reseda first hatches, she will be extremely strange and emotionless, as well as arrogant and demanding. She will care little for what others have to say and disregard names, preferring instead to insert her own. She will do what she wants when she wants. She talks a lot and likes to point out exactly how everyone's wrong, despite her young age.

As she grows and learns, however, she stops running her mouth and begins to think more. She watches and observes and she learns from how others act, since she finds herself incapable of fitting in with anyone else. Until she begins to put up walls and masks, she will make lots of enemies and make lots of gembounds mad at her. But she doesn't care about them. She is above them.

Once she is fully mature, she begins to see other gembounds, not as annoyances, but tools to survive and climb. She becomes extremely ambitious and power-hungry, liking the feeling of having others fear her, of having others under her that she can demand and control. Reseda is completely devoid of strong emotions. There are a few mild things, from annoyance to small pleasures to amusement that are what get her moving. But an emptiness opens inside her, an emptiness for knowledge, power, and respect. She will spend all of her time trying to pour things into it to try and fill the hole of pure Greed, but few things will ever sustain her. Not, apparently, until she has everything in her claws.
