Appearance

Reverend is a vision of star-streaked galaxy, a brightly-colored coat of fur and feathers scattered with brighter pinpoints. He is primarily bipedal but capable of quadrupedal movement, with a doglike nose tipping a soft muzzle in dragon shape. Its "ears" are feather-tufts, and it bears functional draconic wings, with secondary feathered gliding wings on his forearms. Large armored scales down the back of the neck turn to thick spikes down the back/tail; soft fur coats most of its body, with soft leather skin beneath. Feathers ruffle down the neck, throat, back and tail. His curved horns nearly touch, in a halo shape, and the Suglite crystal is embedded at the top of the chest just below the neck. Pale cyan eyes glow softly. As an adult it will stand seven feet tall on its hind legs, or four feet when quadrupedal; he is carnivorous.

After participating in the fourth Trial of Hydra, both of Reverend's eyes have been plucked out by Eyehook Vultures, leaving empty sockets. As a reward, he also received a set of dark purple quills on its tail and arm-wings, with tips that glow the same blue his eyes would have been. He also gained the ability to sense vibrations.

Personality

As a child, Reverend sees everything with wonder and awe. All that glitters draws his eye, and he will hoard small trinkets it finds in various crevices. However, it will always be afraid of conflict.

As he grows, Reverend will become a vain creature, caught up in the mesmerizing glory of its own feathers. A few close friends may find themselves given such a feather - a simple but meaningful gift.

Despite all this, he will be fiercely loyal to his lifegiver, and any who gains his trust. While unwilling to potentially mar its feathers with combat, it will stand strong for what he believes in.

History

Cycle 99 - Participates in the Fourth Trial of Hydra, The Reclamation. Survives, but has both eyes plucked out by Eyehook Vultures, blinding him.
