Size: 6’10” standing height

Appearance

Reaches the height of 6'10" when fully grown. In form, Rhapsody most resembles the Mystfox their stone comes from, though they inherited darker coloration from others in their line, making their fur a dark black-grey with Erasmus's gold marbling pattern.

Their wings and tail are semi-tattered looking, but naturally so, resembling the Lanternfish that exists in their magic's genetics. They have a teal orb nestled in their tail that can store magic, much like a true Mystfox. They possess an addictive euphoric venom that can come from either teeth or claws. They have gills beneath their fur, but they are not well-suited towards swimming, though they are very much fully flight capable.

They are doubly vampiric, hungering for blood and magic both. They are bipedal with furred hands rather than paws. They have two pairs of gold eyes. Their teal tourmaline circles their leg outwardly, not impeding movement, but creating the look of an ankle bracelet. Their voice is both musical and androgynous.

Note: Has a Lovebird Familiar acquired when bird hatched in 2025 Valentine Event.

Personality

Rhapsody is an inquisitive being from the very beginning. At first, when barely a cycle or two, their tendency to question as much as possible could easily have been seen in the same light as any other young being that seeks to learn of a confusing world around them. Yet, that as a whole would be an ultimately inaccurate view of viewing Rhapsody's interest in knowledge.

Some gembound define their lives with the need to know everything. While Rhapsody does not fall into this category, there are types of knowledge that feel to them a need equal to any other need given by biology. But all information is not of equal worth to know, even if none already gained is worth discarding ever in case it is useful eventually.

Information that is felt as a need to Rhapsody is information that feels useful, relevant, or otherwise important in some way. It can be hard to define what makes knowledge feel specifically needed, even they cannot fully explain such matters. Perhaps their father, Archimedes, worded it best once when speaking to their child-self; "Knowledge is a powerful currency. It's never good to be caught without."

Beyond their oddly specific way of viewing knowledge, Rhapsody is a naturally loyal gembound. Most strangers who encounter them would find them a pleasant individual so long as the stranger did not give any reason for them to act otherwise. They genuinely believe one good turn deserves another. However, this same logic makes them willing to believe in "eye for an eye" punishment, which works well for an Enforcer of the Organization.

History

At formation of chrysalis, they were given from their life-giver, the hybrid Doru, to the rat Archimedes, leader of the Organization. The Organization, from this child's hatching, has always been the ones Rhapsody views as family.

While well-aware of the circumstances of their creation, the family that matters to Rhapsody is the family that has been there for them as family. Lineage matters nothing by default, and familial actions have no requirement of shared lineage to allow the ones acting as family to truly be family.

As complicated as such thoughts can sound when expanded upon, the short of it is quite simple; Archimedes is their father and Rhapsody is his child. That's all there is to it.
