Appearance

This small piebald buck will be no bigger then a doe when he is full grown. He has a the cutest velvety pink nose and long slender ears, these he can hear out of quite well, one would say Nina could even hear the gras grow if he focused hard and long enough on it. His eyes a light Icen aurora blue are most of the times liken a calm pool of water on a peacful summer evening. Other times they shine bright with the light of enthusiasm over everything he sees, quizical and intelligent you cant help but feel is glee in his times of happiness. When in times of inner turmoil or sadness his eyes deepen to shades of gray their stare brings about the weight of his sadness to anyone whe meets their gaze. He wears his emotions and kindess on his proverbial sleeve for all to see not good at hiding these he is like an open book. Even the daftest of minds would be able to tell what he was feeling just by looking at him.

The rest of his features are just as fair and fine, even his build, almost bordering on too thin he weighs less the the lightest doe. This reason being that he rarely eats, getting to emotional about even just killing something as simple as grass hurts his heart. Thus Roanin will only eat to survive this putting him into near starving all the time. Even yet as he grows this will temper his resilience making him not strong in the sence of muscles and brawn. More of tenasious resiliance to his will and stamina , getting back to his feet when knocked down everytime. He will rarely to never get sick as an older buck as he will have his fair share of it whilst still young. To this fact he is excelent at finding all the medicinal herbs, fruits, roots, plants and much more accompanied by his plant magic and luck there isn't much he cant find.

As he matures most male deer will grow antlers and loose their spots marking them as a baby to juvenile. Not in Roanin's case his fawn spots will stay with him throught the rest of his life, turning his body into the almost epitome of his innocent nature. As far as antlers he will never grow them as he does not get enough nutrients to support their growth. Now if by chance he ever was to fill out somehow finding it in him to eat enough he will grow large beautiful pure white bone antlers rendering him a nine to ten point buck.

Nina's fur will be short yet soft regardless of his nutrient intake he sports a fine pelt dapled with white spots. His coloration is a base under coat of milky white topped with his piebald markings of caramel cream brown. His face is white and he will have long fine wiskers graceing his upper brow and around his muzzle. His tail like any of his breed is quite fluffy waveing it like a flag when he is excited and curling it up to set on his rump when he is afraid. His stilt like legs lead down to obsidian black hooves, dence and strong the would leave a good sore spot if he were to ever use them on another.

The last part of his visage would be a light roze quartz graceing his chest. This is in the shape of a heart with a smaller raised piece near its upper right curve in the shape of another heart. His stone is position over his breast right above is own heart. His stone glows a soft warm shade of calming pink when he uses his magic for healing or growing new plants. But if ever he were to use his magica for anything but the smaller heart will deepen to a dark almost bloody black pink whilst the main stone glows a harsh hard red. This stone other then glowing when he uses his magic will liten or darken on his mood, sparkling like ice in the warmth of a high sun when he is happy, shimmering as the depths of clear water when calm. Whilst growing dull and dark when he feels sadness, pain, fear or inner turmoil. If he ever were by the chance of gods to break his stone would become lifeless with the look of brittle dirt stained pink. A huge crack would form across its surface while the smaller gem wold look as though it had shattered completely from the inside out. This will be the darkest times for the small buck, let us pray this never happens for if so the weight he will cary would be as if the entire cave lived on his shoulders. Only a miracle would bring him back.

Personality

Roanin is kind of; a decidedly neutral party, that is to say he would rather see everyone happy, disliking conflicts trying to settle them so that everyone wins and the win is fair. He will never learn otherwise his character, kind to a default, a numb naiveness he will carry around for his entire life. That isn't to say that he can't be shown the real facts of the world, or that he wont except that a predator is a predator and prey is prey. But farther then the need to sustain ones life so that they can live and be beautiful is something he just cant understand.

His code of conduct if you will, is to only take what you need. If he sees someone killing or destroying for sport he gets furiously sad. With tears in his eyes Nina will confront you, big doe eyes begging you to stop, even putting himself in front so that you would have to strike him down before continuing. Likewise he does not have one mean bone or gem in his body, preferring to dodge or block if he is attacked. Though if he absolutely must he would even rather prefer tactics that would wear his adversary out, put them to sleep or immobilize them in a none aggressive way. Then will proceed to heal any wounds that had occurred during the battle.

Some will say he is even to kind, forgiving the animals that would hurt him. Even battered bruised and broken he would never hate or dislike his abuser nor would his mind ever be changed. Will strong like adamant yet flexible and giving as rubber he can spring back from anything thrown at him. That doesn't mean he wont know the taste of fear, pain, sadness just, unlike most, a darker emotion wont ever arise from it, rather he sides on the lines of compassion and understanding, truth and love over the darker emotions of 'i hate, i will hurt', or 'i will kill' you.

Nina may consider himself a 'hero of justice' of sorts and yet with all the qualities that make him into a 'white' sage he can get irritated. Although this doesn't happen often, it doesn't mean that he cant. When he does its more along the lines of how a parent can get irritated with their child but still love them all the same. Raising his voice only when someone is out of earshot or when speaking on a matter that strikes a deep cord with him, but never out of anger.

All things considered he is a very happy child in love with the little things like the air he breaths, the light from the glow stones, the smaller gems that scuttle around even to the fair flowers and green grass. He is in love with life itself flourishing as it does, he even places his steps as not to crush anything beneath him and when he does eat. Nina thanks the plants and water he consumes for the beautiful life they gave up to keep his own body alive. He will even go as far as regrow anything he has taken apart of, and if he sees discord in the land he will try to fix it. So is his nature to see the good in others even when no one else does or when that animal itself doesn't see it. He will be there to comfort even in the tough times even if he doesn't have the right things to say he will consent to sitting with you in your quiet, dark place for however long it takes. And when you are ready he will greet you with the warmth of a thousand glow lights, and love that never wavers.

This little Piebald deer loves to sing, often you will find him singing absent minded oft times then not this will be when he is in his most happiest state. With such a small pure voice you wouldn't think much of it but when he sings, its like Nina transforms into this strong towering figure, able to belt for days. Carrying the sweetest tune, those who hear his voice would be hard pressed to resist its enthralling pull. A true bard you would here some say, to him its just Roanin doing what he loves to do... nothing more nothing less. That is unless he is using it as a catalyst for his powers, drawing power from his voice and emotions he can sing life into the most baron of wastelands or open the hearts of those that happen to hear him. As pure a heart as his who wouldn't love him?
