Appearance

After emerging from Chrysalis, Ruine is basically only a lump of brick red fluff with distinctive black facial smudges that frame her squinting eyes. Her ears are folded back and have the smallest tip which is hardly noticeable.
Movement is slow and gawky due to her stubby legs that end in pin-like claws embedded in her precious paws. Speech is limited and consists of random sounds that are not quite yet words. She is like this for the first 2 cycles.

At 3 cycles, her whole body had started to elongate into a young Caracal. Although she is only just the size of a domestic cat at this point, her legs take up an unproportional amount of room, about 60% of her height! Those little paws have become big and clumsy.
Youthful fuzz covers her growing body, and characteristic juvenile spots patter her belly. Those once folded ears stand erect and proud, displaying the black tufts on the top. She is mostly seen clambering, skidding and running into things around this age, mostly accompanied with high pitched yelps and Help’s.

Fully grown Ruine is elegant and lean, most would say too lean. Although her ribs are just about concealed, the bony contours of her back, hips and shoulders are prominent. She is filled in with powerful muscle, although it can hardly been seen due to her thick, short rusty fur. The top of her shoulders easily reaches 60cm, tall for a female of her species, and she weighs 12kg.
The fur is a brown/red ticked with lighter tones, and her underfur is a creamy white, with no sign of juvenile spots. In the fold of her neck, the circular red jasper stone sits comfortably. Her previous fluff had hidden it due to its tiny size. The stone has a singular black vein sprawling across its diameter, cutting through its deep red colour.

Personality

The first word most would describe Ruine as is enthusiastic. She loves to explore and understand the world to the greatest extent. Curiosity killed the cat is a saying for a reason. This trait can lead her into impulsive and erratic behaviours since she follows her heart more than her head. And her heart gets rather moody, especially if another soul irritates her. The easiest way to do this is to challenge her decisions, since this headstrong feline believes that she honestly thinks she is right most of the time, and hates to admit when she is not.

Ruine can get lonely, she desires to have a stable group of souls that she can experience her investigations with. To achieve this she tries her best to be loyal and caring, even though her moodiness can hinder the bonds she tries to make. Her fear of being alone shows how uncomfortable she is with her own thoughts and feelings. Without expressing her emotions, her erratic manners becomes worse, and she can become self-destructive under the pressure of her intense feelings.

One of her greatest interests is decoration, she sees potential in coloured clays, bright berries and random trinkets. Making things look 'pretty' calms her mind and could easily become a hoarder from collecting interesting objects, whether it be feathers, jewels or leaves.
