Appearance
A beast of mass and muscle, the softer features of his fledgling years are long gone. A great head sits upon an equally thick neck. His features are that of a polar bear. Massive jaws made for crushing bone, a wide forehead with a blockish head shape. He’s imposing in some respects and pitiful in others. His weight is held on a framed that was never designed to bare it. A front half of solid muscle it is evenly proportion across a broad chest, his legs, as big as mid-sized saplings, large mitten like paws and large grasping claws, could easily move him. It is his back half that causes him so much grief. A gift from a mother he has never met, wings have formed where his back legs should be.
A beautiful ruby red that matches the crown atop his head and the two pairs of eyes set within his skull. They are a stark contrast to the white that covers the majority of his body. As well as the black that covers his belly, part of his chest, and the tip of the somewhat feline-like tail. This red is not to be out done by the jagged shard of Ammolite that sits between his shoulders with its rainbow-colored hues. Despite where the stone sits on his person it does little to impede his mobility, unlike his wings. They are perfectly shaped for the use of flight, but not so much for walking. As such his gait is shambling lurch, almost serpentine in nature if not for the unsteadiness of it. This has caused callouses to from on his belly from the constant friction of the cave floor. His wing joints as well harbored these callouses from overuse in a capacity that they shouldn’t be in. Personality
Energetic with capricious bones he is an introspective being he is prone to a mind filled with a flurry of thoughts. Problems are held close to the chest and mulled over until he can no longer stomach them to which he then goes to someone trusted to analyze the situation. Rarely, if ever, will he broach a subject that bothers him with a stranger. Mainly, because he tended to be off on his own. This can lead to a darker thought process if left alone to long. Which can cause a flare in bitterness, the sarcasm that comes with it is always there whether verbalized or not.
His thought process is heavily based in logic, aware of his surroundings and of those around him, always taking into account everything before planning his next step. Not bound to whatever he plans, should another way make itself know he is quickly to change gears, able to bound back with ease should things go awry. Though, there are times that he wishes he could be a dreamer, his circumstances would not allow him such a boon. This has fostered a disciplined mind with a steady air and a sense of justice to rival many. His sense of fairness, while trying to do right by others, can be brutal in its machinations. This pillar that he has tied himself to has made him take things at face value, seemly not a vessel for humor. As such he tends to hold a pessimistic outlook on life. Still, this outlook doesn’t stop him from taking the responsibilities hefted upon him to an extreme. He will see them done one way or another. There is a temper in him born of frustration and simple tenacity. Cold and unfeeling he is not. While not physically aggressive, he has no qualms using a sharp tongue to make his point known. This is tied to a sense of possessiveness and jealously that he tries to stifle, but there are times where his attempts backfire. His sharp tongue quick coming into play to try to mask these feelings. Declaring judgment rests on those who wish to take up the mantle, which he has. These are based on his own expectations of others and how they react to the world around them. He struggles with the fact that not all can measure up to his expectations but does give them a chance to change his mind on how he would view them. Time will see him grow and become more accepting of others. His reserved nature will not allow him to just hand out his loyalty, but once it given it is not taken back. Innately, he holds a certain loyalty to his family both blood and those he adopts into his own circle. The difference is in who he seeks out first, the Bonebound or the circle of his own making. Will they be one in the same? Insecurity taps at the back of his mind, reminding him of the things he can’t accomplish with this body of his, as such he hates to be put in a position where that is put on display. He takes pains to make sure he is never in that position. Time will tell if he will give into his anger at his being or rise above it. History
