Appearance

She's as beautiful and elegant as one could expect from a leopard. Soft, clean coat of gentle, morning gold flecked with echoes of shadows adorns her face. Four strong legs, large paws made for climbing and jumping, sturdy muscles that should ripple under her skin. A gentle yet powerful feline's face set with glowing golden eyes that seem to see much more then the material. Long, white whiskers, inquisitive ears, a long, graceful tail. Truly, the epitome of all that is beautiful.

But, alas, no one will ever see what makes Seshat so beautiful. From hatch she is cursed to bear her stone upon her skin with only her head having the chance to peak out from this eternal chrysalis. Amethyst lays like armor over every inch of her made-useless muscles, making it utterly immovable for the entirety of her life, replacing the skin over most of her body. It crystallizes in peaks in some place, particularly around her neck, where it spreads to form almost like a mane of crystalline spires. She will be frozen in a single position - that of sitting - from hatch until the end of her life. Or, of course, until the end of time.

Because of the crystal's curse, Seshat will never grow more then that of a juvenile, coming in at about a foot in length but weighing ridiculously heavy for her size, considering that her skin is made of stone. Even if it was remotely possible to move, the longer she lives, the more atrophied her muscles will become, muscles shrinking until they're close to nonexistent beneath their crystal prison.

Personality

Seshat will always be well-mannered with a calm, kind demeanor - it's written into her very core to be good and cool-headed, taking things slowly instead of swiftly. At hatch, however, or until she comes to accept her fate as a creature without movement, she will experience a great amount of stress and fear. Her life will begin in terror, as a child that wishes only to move and explore and see will find that they will be eternally trapped to one spot unless moved by an outside force.

It will be hard to tell when this fear eventually turns into acceptance, but it will happen sometime. And when it comes, that is when Seshat will truly bloom into herself. As one who is wise and calm, who never antagonizes or blames others and gives what advice she learns out freely. She'll be a collector of knowledge, names, and faces, one who remembers all. She possesses a photographic memory and is able to remember with great clarity most of the experiences she's had in her life. She can't forget anyone, no faces nor locations and she will never forget a word said to her.

She is patient beyond belief - she has to be, after all, to sit still forever and not go insane. She is slow-moving in her thoughts, as she has all the time in the world to come to conclusions. She has little sense of pride, accepting caretakers if offered and gifts if given without question or hesitation. She will demean herself, if it is necessary, and do whatever she must if it means survival or the pursuit of knowledge.
