Appearance

BUT WITHOUT THE DARK
WE'D NEVER SEE THE STARS

    -- A beautifully crafted porcelain sacrificial lamb dressed in a cloak of only the finest of furs is Sìleas Awrorâu. She is a feline creature of the Norwegian Forest variety, given large ears and a well-sculpted face. Her curvature is womanly and of beauty, although hidden in a double-cloak of long and thick fur that serves as a shield against the harsh cold and waters of the caverns in which she haunts. Set into her soft features are two orbs that lack pigmentation to block out what lies beneath. Her stone, a lightning ridge black opal, has taken over the optic nerves of her eyes, rendering them almost useless for any purpose other than for vanity.

Doused in starlight is the queen, her fur painted with pure white hues. Her pelt seemingly glows at all times, no matter where she may stand. If she weren't blinded by the placement of her stone, one could notice that her eyes are a rosy pink color. Upon her face are small points of rosy pink hues, as well as on her nose, paws and pads, back, and tail's tip. Each of these features are a dead giveaway of her albinism. Not a single marking places itself upon her features, leaving her a simple beauty.

Sìleas is one of refined manners and elegance, from her eloquent words and patterns of speech to the gentle sway of her hips as she walks. She is a creature that realizes that she is blind, but does not view it as a curse. Perhaps it may inhibit her survival skills and she may have troubles surviving for her first few cycles of life, but she will adapt. The feline is from a race of opportunistic hunters, and she will thrive within a few cycles of practice and training, honing her other senses to make up for the lack of sight. Perhaps, one day, she can even adapt her light magic to enable her to stalk those who have blood flowing through their veins.

She is intelligent and wise, yet humble and silent. Sìleas is well aware of the fact that knowledge can be dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands, so she withholds it. Some see her as invisible or nonexistent, and she is alright with that. Her eyes are always closed, chin tucked into her chest and facing the earth, yet her ears are always erect. The queen is one that definitely believes in greater powers and entities that created the caverns that many like her call home, and perhaps this religion will be more clearly defined as she discovers herself. She is a realist and does not blind herself from harsh truths. It is best to accept them for how they are rather than to hide behind a curtain of lies and slander.
