Appearance

Skeena is most definitely a one-of-a-kind gembound. Being a hybrid, a cross between the infamous hyena Giggles and a Jerboa, she is very unique. For the most part, she appears like a Jerboa. She stands merely eighteen inches at her sloped shoulders. Her head vaguely resembles a hare, with a long, sloping muzzle that ends in a curve. Her ears are extremely long, and shaped like a jackrabbit's. Her fur, for the most part, resembles a hyena, being varying shades of tan, cream and brown, with black spots. Her underside tends to be cream, with her upper legs, stomach, chest, throat, and muzzle being cream, as well as the insides of her ears. There is a black strip down the top of her muzzle, ending in a pink nose. Her eyes are almond shaped, and brown, gleaming. Sharp fangs poke out from her lips. Her legs are naked, like a rodents, with no fur and an almost purple-tinge. Skeena's tail is longer than she is, ending in a long tuft of fur.

Personality

Skeena is most definitely an interesting Gembound, not what you'd normally find in any animal. For the most part, she is very sweet, and kind, and caring. She can act nurturing, like a mother, or protective like an older brother or sister. Skeena is the animal that others turn to for a shoulder to cry on or for advice about nearly anything. But, what they don't know, is that she has a much darker side to her, which she does her best to hide. She always has a dark voice whispering in the back of her mind, telling her to harm others, to take advantage of their weakness, to torture, to kill maim them. However, no matter how much she fights it, there are times when the dark side takes control. During these times, she becomes nearly feral, like a wild beast. She'll attack even those she loves dearly, and holds no qualms on killing and eating the more sentient Gembounds. Even when in control, the dark side may make itself known, causing her to cackle and laugh despite how inappropriate it may be. She tends to keep quiet, for fear that the dark side will take control while she's speaking, and reveal her inner struggle.
