Appearance

Skull is a female american alligator with a form of albinism that only affects parts of her body. The sections of white scales are in patches on her legs, back, and face, the ones on her face specifically forming a sort of skull-like shape. The eye sockets, nose area, and faded lines across the lips are colors, making it look like the outline of her skull.

Fully grown she will be about 2 meters long and will weigh about 440 kilograms. Her colored scales are a dark, mottled green, and her eyes are the same bright pink as her gem. They have a slitted pupil and a small speck in one that’s a soft brown.

She has short, stubby legs and short claws, with a long, thick tail. Her head is thick with her eyes and nose set up so she can hear and breathe while hanging out under the water. Often she covers herself in mud to hide her coloring and protect her sensitive white scales and skin from light.

Skull is a bit… thick around the waist, as she tends to exercise less and sleep more, but she can run pretty fast and chase for a good distance before tiring.

Personality

Skull is always curious, though rarely about big-issue questions and more frequently about things like 'why do I have eyes?' and 'how come my ears are so small?' and 'I've got so many teeth!'.

She’s not the brightest, but she makes up for it with plenty of enthusiasm (and naps!). She’s naturally optimistic, and always finds the best in a bad situation, even if there’s a dark cloud hanging over it. After all, every cloud has a silver lining! She loves her friends and family (though she finds it a bit difficult to make friends, since she's so... everywhere) and would do nearly anything for them.

Skull loves unconditionally. She’s big and scary, but she’s so full of love and she wants to curl up with anyone who'll let her and snuggle (teeth only sometimes included!). She’s a very touchy person and tends to feel sad and bored in her alone time, not that she has much of it. But if she goes too long being social and happy, she tends to lose energy quickly and just ends up being miserable.

At the end of the day, she really just wants to curl up on a nice, warm rock and nap -- preferably with someone who loves her.
