Slinky is... very befitting of his name.

He is very long, snake-like or ferret-like in build. He is roughly 15 feet long nose-tip to tail-tip, with a good third or so of that being just tail. His muzzle is long and full of tiny, sharp teeth just as good as tearing into plant matter as they are into meat. His eyes are large and always bear a slit pupil, though their color varies. Pointed ears with ribbed insides sit alert, and right between them a single, spiraled horn juts right off the back of his head. He has large, gecko-like feet capable of sticking to most surfaces, as well as a similar sticky-patch on his tail to help with climbing.

His skin resemble that of an octopus's, but dry and covered in tiny, tiny scales the texture of rough stone. His skin is capable of changing colors as well as texture, also like an octopus. He can change color on will, but he may also change color unwillingly under extreme emotions. Usually this will just change the shade or situation of the color, but extremely strong emotions completely change his color or pattern.

His default coloration is a light grey with dark-grey banding going down his entire body, with much smaller blue and red stripes on either side of those bands. His default eye color is a split red and blue on either side of his slit pupil.

His gemstone is a black diamond right in the middle of his chest. It is smooth, and somewhat dull. A dark void right where his heart would be.

Personality

Slinky is a cunning little creature, and tries to keep that a closely guarded secret. His only natural weapons are tiny teeth and a single horn, so he relies upon his magic and especially his wit. And the element of surprise is the best weapon of all. He certainly doesn’t want to come across as stupid but he does prefer to be underestimated. He'd ideally like to be seen as a somewhat naive leaderly type- good intentions but maybe a little too trusting.

For one, he pretends to wear his heart on his sleeve. Often, he will make colors and patterns dance across his skin, portraying false emotions to better fool other gembound. He keeps his actual emotions close to his chest, preferring logic over emotions whenever possible. When his emotions finally DO get the best of him, though... You better watch out. Near constantly self-suppressing your emotions isn’t too great for your emotional health.

Just as a thief assumes everyone else steals, Slinky assumes everyone else has something to hide. He has a tendency to overthink things, and the need to always outsmart others. This can lead to him making things be more complicated than they really are. He can be rather paranoid- thinking of scenarios that will never happen, arguments and fights that are unlikely, if even probable at all.
