Appearance

Now Corrupted, Tema leaks black oil from her eyes, nose and game, matting her fur and darkening her stone. Tema is your average grizzly bear, save for the tear drop shaped amethyst on her forehead. Weighing in at around 800 pounds, 7 feet long and 4.5 feet tall at the shoulders, she is quite the force to be reckoned with. As if her size wasn't scary enough, her sharp front claws are 8cm long. From the hump in her back to her deep brown colour, she's about as generic as they come. One more exception might be made in saying so, however. Though hard to spot considering their small size in comparison to her body, her eyes are lighter than most bears of her species. They resemble honey much more than tree bark, shining brightly instead of just being sunk into her head like forgotten marbles. Though the natural frosted gold tips of her fur might make her seem grizzled or unkempt, hence her species name, for the most part it's actually rather tidy. For all the trips and tumbles she takes, her fur is washed often enough that it carries a healthy shine. The same could not be said for her teeth however, as they yellow over time regardless as to how much she tries to care for them.

Tema was once a kind soul, a gentle giant wary of her strength and terrified of hurting another creature. She barely wanted to hunt, let alone fight. She mostly served as transport for her snail friend, and a bodyguard for the now-disbanded Voidcrawlers. She was curious, always looking for some new trinket or a new way to call upon her magic. She sought to make others happy, and to find love in Chaos.

Who are you, if not mine?

Now, Tema is rediscovering herself, and learning what it means to be alone. Or so she believes. Tema has become Corrupted, and is more so learning how to live life with a new master. No longer a guardian, or Voidkin, she has become a bringer of chaos. No longer afraid of her own strength, the bear finds herself embracing it more and more with each coming cycle, honing it to further serve the Void. She has no further motivation than to make the Void proud, and she will stop at nothing to hear it sing her praises. The only thing that hasn't changed about the bear is her mood swings, grown more prominent, and violent, since her corruption.

Tema doesn't often find herself honing her magic anymore, choosing to focus her time on raw strength. Instinct and the Whispers of Chaos have become her only guide. Now, her only hope for connection is through it, or perhaps to bring a new child up in service of the Void. Nothing else matters, not anymore, and getting Tema to trust someone or believe otherwise would prove quite the task.
