Appearance
Full grown, they are a dark cloak of the night, weighing in at 35 pounds and with a wing span of over 8 and a half feet, no raptor can match their prowess in the skies, though this unusual length means that they have lost a significant amount of maneuverability. A beautiful combination of blacks, greys and whites, it starts with the bands of grey splitting up the white up their legs before the white takes over a predominant amount of his chest and belly. The underside of their wings are a similar combination to his legs, the top side being almost entirely grey. When in flight, their presence is silent and foreboding to any who pass under his shadow. Two soulless black eyes peer out from under their brow bone and their curved beak is apt for tearing apart prey and the bodies of those who have passed. A crest of feathers sits behind their head, only ever fanning out when under threat or in performing the rituals to see one pass on from life into death. Finally, what completes this picture are their talons, with a crushing power of 598 psi, they can crack a neck without too much strain or effort. Their tail feathers fan out behind him and his signature message of having visited and passed on a corpse is the leaving of one of his tail feathers at a body. Personality
There is no personality to describe. All Temere is, is a hollow entity that wanders Origin, spookily appearing at the sight of a dying Gembound or being drawn to an area where one has just passed. They have no belief in a God, merely that ones death signifies change and passing into a separate realm within Origin and they seek to be present for it. Along with this, they has no interest in collecting the gems for themselves, content with leaving them for whoever may be grieving over the corpse that is left behind. Not one to speak many words, their conversations are short and brief but they are happy to answer questions one might have over the death of another.
Consoling isn't one of their strong points, all they aim to do is provide the facts of what has passed. Their sympathy extends to assuring the loved one or ones that their friend has moved on with their life and gone to a place to begin again. Temere is by no means exceedingly intelligent, but their words are cryptic enough to be seen as such. A keeper of death, they work alongside no one and gives no affiliation to others. They don't speak in 'friends', but that is through no vanity or bitterness towards others. Merely their wish to remain alone. History
