Appearance

Temperantia is odd, it appears fragile, as if one could break it with the slightest force. Its body is a graceful ring of some glassy hard matter that resembles porcelain, and carries the same texture. Despite this, beneath the outershell, if one looks close enough, veins are visibile, a dark reddish purple. Its blood is the same maroon purple color as the outside. Its body is lined with markings reminiscent of golden filigree.

On the outside of its ring, eyes line it, pale yellow, and constantly looking, expressionless to the outside world. It carries three sets of wings on it, each a iridescent gold in the back, and pale white in the front, and vaguely translucent, though the pair in the midst of it's ring is the largest. Each wing holds a singular eye, the same pale gold as the eyes upon its ring.

Temperantia does not appear to fly, nor can it walk. It is constantly hovering just above the ground, just far enough for its wingtips to not touch the ground. Its wings will occasionally flap, and its eyes will blink with pale, skin covered eyelids, but that is the majority of action it will usually preform. Despite its lack of mouth, Temperantia is able to speak. It's voice is both male and female at once, and neither at the same time. A voice like multiple speaking, both deep and light, and comes off as a monotonous droll. Its voice does not seem to come from anywhere specific, except around Temperantia itself. Its gem takes the place of one of its eyes-- a fire opal that looks a dull in normal light, but when bright light hits it, it resembles a sunrise through clouds.

Temperantia will largely remain the same as both adult and child, though as a child its eyes are larger, and its wings are pink and unfeathered, like a baby bird, with large purplish and blue veins. As the months go by, it will gradually gain feathers on its wings. At full growth, it will be 42 inches around, the rough size of a weighted hula hoop. Upon first hatching, however, Temperantia will only be 12 inches around.

Personality

Though Temperantia may seem emotionless with its lack of mouth or anything to signify emotion, it is a creature born with a burning sense of right and wrong, more compelled to follow what it believes it is right, than simply possessing strong morals.
It has a starkly black and white view of the world, believing it knows intuitively what things are good and what are wrong. It is cold to creatures it considers to be wrongdoers, going so far as to suggest death for what it considers to the worst offenders. It considers itself judge, jury, and executioner in any situation where it is placed. Morally grey situations greatly confuse it, and it will spend hours trapped in its thoughts.

Despite Temperantia's offputting appearance and many eyes, it is still a child, and will learn and change from those around it. Its morals can be warped and changed by the right hand, into a servant willing to commit evil deeds for the sake of good. fuck rectangles
