Appearance
The odd union between a dark elf and a stag, Thalia begins as a bipedal humanoid not at all unlike a faun, with an elf-like upper body supported by two deer-like hind legs. Her adult form will be some five foot, ten inches tall, athletically lean, and her childhood form will be proportional, comparable to a tall human girl in terms of growth. Thalia is a picture of dusk, like the rest of her family: purple skin, a ragged mane of black hair, black deer-like legs, and a long tufted black tail. Her eyes are a softly-glowing silver, with faint violet rims to her irises, and small, dark antler nubs that will spread into a small set of pale-tipped, dark-beamed branching antlers later in life. She is not, however, blessed with the star-speckled appearance of her siblings: dark freckles rather than white sprinkle like pepper, rather than starlight, across her face. Her gemstone, a circular piece of glittering diamond, is settled at the upper center of her chest, between her collarbones, slightly below shoulder level. As a child, Thalia will wear a large, loose-fitting tunic to cover herself. As an adult, she will wander casually nude, seeing no issues with this--but there's nothing to see down below, and her chest will generally be covered by the swathes of black hair falling over her shoulders. Personality
Thalia is an artist at heart: specifically, an outgoing bard type. She is almost always positive and good-natured, as well as being brash and boastful, in a humorous way. While competitive, it's always with spirit and not hostility; she is not a sore loser and will gladly toast a winner in her stead.
Aside from this visibly active, vivacious streak, she's also a dreamer. Not exactly an idealist; but she daydreams, constantly. Her mind is nearly always wandering, full of creative ideas and concepts, working through a thousand plots that may or may not come to fruition as stories, songs or poetry later on. An early fascination with storytelling is likely to greatly shape her character. Wonder and awe are full of enthusiasm, and she will eagerly tread through danger to find a good story to tell. Because of these two traits, and in combination with both dextrous hands and a strong, commanding, somewhat husky voice, Thalia is likely to make a fine if over-indulgent bard, of sorts. Though taking pride in anything that she does, she's likely to pursue storytelling as a priority: through the use of light magic, song, and creative poetry and prose. She is likely to craft and/or learn an instrument or two, and between songs, to explore (in moderation) casual indulgences like hallucinogens or over-fermented fruit. She will also never bear herself with the nobility or grace of either parent, instead moving with loose confidence, often strutting in her walk, and at rest, lounging or splayed idly across tree branches without a care in the world.
