Appearance

metallica rolls first into mind when one lays eye upon this odd, almost ethereal sheep.

he is fairly distinct in appearance despite the simple, warm palette. his hide is a deep, rich brown, short-furred but often shiny. wool will — someday — begin to grow, taking on a lighter shade from the brunt of cave-lights. it will be plush and warm, wavy at every turn but generally flowing downward; throne ensures that it is well-kept and clean, though not to a point of obsession. as clean as it is practical, as they say. the ruminant will possess a strangely shiny coat, and he refuses to reveal his secret to such luxury.

but, enough about a sheep's wool: the key features that define throne are, of course, the face. his head and neck stand starkly against a thick mantle, keeping the brown-black of his youth. ghostly-white eyes are set on either side of his head, further contrasting. then, of course, there is the magnificent crown of horns wrought in snowflake obsidian. the glassy stone is pitch black and possesses many white eyes. it stretches in a number of hollow points and across the top of his skull, reemerging as teeth of a canine sort on the upper mandible. they aren't quite long enough to poke past the lip, but are fairly sharp.

as a child, though, his appearance is a muddled brown-black with mere nubs for horns and teeth — they will grow at the same relative pace as a regular sheep's would.

Personality

arch-angelic, not quite free from the confines of mortality, throne is one of the fickle sort. his demeanor is easily neutral with a pleasant air — a resting scowl does not mean he is against conversation and interaction with strangers. word exchange can lead to new discoveries, after all, and it's in his nature to be a little curious about the world he lives in. now, that information may be kept to himself as a bargaining chip for the things he desires or needs, but throne sets out to acquire it anyways.

his fickle nature lies in his penchant for deal-making and apparent coin-flip morality. his affections and interests tend to align themselves only towards himself and the betterment of his situation. if you were to ask a favor, throne is just as likely to determine that it's not worth his time as he is to invest hours, cycles into something at your request. one could say it depends on how polite you are, but even then, that's a careful balance. however, one thing is for certain: he is near-obsessive about fair trades. a 'thank you' is often met with a gift in return — gemstones, dead rats, a shot of offensive magicka — as he feels he owes something.

time, though, marches on like an arrow.
