Appearance
Toevij is a snowy owl, and a rather large one at that. When they are young, their feathers are mostly black. As they grow older, the feathers turn white, with black spots scattered throughout. They most closely resemble a male snowy owl, however they are agender. They are about 25 inches long when full grown, with a 56 inches long wingspan. They have yellow eyes that seem to stare into anyone who dares to look at them's soul. Their beak is black. They don't speak often, but when they do, their voice is gravelly and deep. They speak with purpose, each word carefully chosen.
Their gem is obsidian, and can be found as three lines strongly resembling scratches on their chest. The three lines connect to each other under the feathers, completely out of sight. The lines are ragged, and the middle is a bit longer than the others. Not noticeable at a distance, but clearly seen once up close. They hold themselves with a sense of superiority, although they would never admit such a thing aloud. They tend to watch all, without a single word spoken. They smell like something that is rotting, and sometimes even a sickly sweet smell. It's not very strong, but if you pay attention to it, it's clearly noticeable. Personality
Toevij is what one might consider a little creepy. Perhaps a lot creepy. They rarely ever speak, instead staring at you with their yellow eyes. They will watch you, watch your every move, watch what decisions you make. They judge, and they rather harshly do so. They will not voice their judgements, and instead just remember every gembound they may have seen, and what they think of them. They considers themselves to be the bringer of death, someone who can cause death by just looking at someone. Of course, they can't do such a thing. But they try, regardless.
Toevij doesn't speak very often, and when they do, it's carefully. Each word is chosen, and very cautiously done so. They speak rather slowly, even though before they open their beak, they already know what they are going to say. Once they have gotten to know someone, they don't change much. They may, perhaps, speak just a little more often, and also not judge them so harshly, if at all. But few even know of how they judge, so it does not make much of a difference. Toevij considers themselves as one who does not have any weakness. They think they are strong, and can withstand anything, with their long, powerful wings, and sharp beak and talons. They have a fascination with death, and what may happen when a gembound dies. They will not do anything to find out, however, instead preferring to watch someone else find out, or perhaps hear it in passing. History
