Appearance
As a cub, Tolani is covered by short, soft onyx fur with a small V-shaped patch of white on her chest, and faint traces of gray on the top portion of her muzzle. In regards to the size of her body, Tolani's paws are much larger than they should be, causing her to trip over her own feet on occasion, and easily lose her balance. The fur around her neck is just an inch or so longer than the rest of her fur, creating the illusion of a collar wrapped around her neck. Her ears are vaguely bell shaped, and fairly large in comparison to her head.
As she reaching adulthood, Tolani has reached her full size of standing 39 inches at the shoulder, and 75 inches in length. Her weight since being a cub has increased greatly, now sitting at an estimated 270 pounds instead of the measly 10 pounds she'd weighed upon encountering a (in her opinion,) fairly rude golden tiger cub. The fur around her throat has since grown similar to a jacket, leading down to medium length fur covering a surprisingly muscled frame, despite relying on a fairly good friend for most of her protection, due to her poor eyesight. Tolani has now grown into her paws, navigating with ease and rarely, if ever, tripping over her own paws at this point. The faint white marks on her muzzle have since spread to cover the entirety of her lower jaw, and take on a gray-brown tone near her eyes. Her eye has started to cloud over, showing her diminishing eye sight, rendering her mostly blind, however despite the clouded hue, her eyes still shine with a golden hue when facing the light. Her gem is a spherical shaped piece of Labradorite, resting in her right eye, causing the loss of sight on that side. Its color is mostly of a blue hue, with brown tendrils weaving in near the left side of the gem. Upon using a spell, the gem darkens considerably, only returning to its original color once the spell has been broken or finished. Personality
As a cub, Tolani is easily startled, and yet extremely curious, often getting herself into mischief when left to her own devices. Her energy is seemingly inexhaustible, bounding from one place to another without showing any signs of slowing down. Tolani often sticks around areas she knows, uncertain of just what lies beyond her hatching place, waiting until she's older, and able to truly protect herself if she needed it for some reason before she might think of venturing out.
As Tolani reaches Adulthood, she has become much more relaxed, happy to simply sit in the light and take in the warmth before being willing to move. Tolani expresses extreme caution around areas she's unfamiliar with as her sight continues to fail her, forcing her to rely on her other senses to find possible threats to her own safety. As such she'll be much slower in navigating through areas, ensuring she remembers the path in the event that she needs to flee. Tolani has taken to listening to everything around her, staying back in the shade to keep herself cool at times, as well as to blend in. Regardless of her age, Tolani has found that she still possesses her cub-like energy, and even though she doesn't seem to appreciate her small size, she still uses it to hide under her protecting companion.
