Appearance

Tupu is a rather strange looking gembound. Or rather, strange animal in general. Their body is a mess of thin gangly limbs with a thin, snake-like neck slapped on. Where there is not thin limbs and knobbled knees, there is a chubby body. Their body is a nice creamsicle orange, with a darker stripe above and a white one below. Given that she is a gerenuk, her head looks comically tiny compared to her body, with lips that seem perpetually pursed.

Patches of white surround her eyes, with a black eyeliner typical of Savannah mammals. Size wise, she is large as a baby and large as an adult. She will be on the thinner side in terms of weight, but above average in terms of height. Upon reaching 4 cycles of age, she will be around 3 feet tall at the shoulder, and 90 pounds. As a newborn gembound she will be less than half of that.

Their eyes are blank, an empty void where hope and intelligence go to die. One could consider the secrets of the universe to be held within. Given that she is a gerenuk, her head looks comically tiny compared to her body, with lips that seem perpetually pursed. Her gemstone is a patch on the top of her skull, above her eyes. Three dots, connected beneath the skin, form an ellipses. Her gemstone is hollow, causing bumps against it to form cartoon bonk sounds. Post big explody, Tupu's trio of dots is cracked down the middle, with streaks of the spires gold Gold?? gold?? the spire is BLUE what happened.

Personality

Something seems to have gone wrong during this gembound's forming. They don't seem to be there all the time, and actions are executed without thought more often than not. If someone tells her to do something, she'll do it. If she sees the gembound near her do something, she'll do it. It seems to be driven by an instinctual urge to fit in with her herd. Its unclear if she even has the ability to speak most the time, and can be heard vocalizing like a normal gerenuk. Gerenuk themselves aren quite vocal creatures, and she will often bleat or grunt when trying to speak to her herdmates. She has a total lack of concentration, and will end up wandering off in the middle of a conversation, should they find something tasty. When they do speak, using actual words, its with a vocabulary that never developed past the first cycle. Sentences are short and to the point. A simple "Food." or "Tasty." or "Eat Spire." She often forgets her height, and has trouble with her gangly limbs. Her eyes are often scanning the ground for vegetation rather than the things above. She will bump into things quite often, making a cartoon bonk sound every time. Were there any creature with true knowledge of the universe, this would be them.
