Appearance

V-Corundum-One is a hulking Valkhound-like beast, about eight feet tall but almost more bat-like than resembling either of her parents. The Mystfox-inherited ears look overly large due to being perched atop the beginnings of a hammerhead, from her lifegiver Vargas. Plush slate blue fur is capped by darker cerata, with slightly paler blue countershading underneath. A nose somewhere between open nostrils and a fox snout ends up looking batlike, too, with darker slate noseleather--the same darker blue that makes up the lips and paw-pads.

Eyes and maw glow bright pink, matching the gemstone at her back--a species of Corundum too pink to be ruby and too rough to be recognizably pink sapphire. Large spines line the arms and hocks, and the claws of the forelimbs (one thumb included) are long and crooked. Corundum is an omnivore that can also gain nutrition (through Leech) from magic sources, as can her Mystfox parent, storing excess in the tail orb. Once she has gained enough magic she can grow new tails with new orbs to store it in. She also bears affinity for the Reflect spell, via an instinctive Mystfox trait to vanish when it's needed.

Personality

An absolute gremlin, Corundum is indomitably positive and cheerfully antagonistic, in a competitive sort of way--a possible inheritance from her Mystfox 'blood.' While supportive of siblings, encouraging them to reach their full potential, she'll gladly do so in a way that includes nothing of kid gloves. She's the sort to give a slap on the back so hearty that it sends a friend reeling, or challenge someone to a brawl or dangerous competition on a happy whim.

She's also determined to prove her own worth: to be the best she can be, rising in the ranks of Chaos. She has no issues with the loosely militaristic, rank-and-file nature of the Chaos Forge, instead embracing it and gleefully attempting to dominate her role in it wherever she can. One could call her "well-adjusted"--a rarity, maybe, in the Forge--if she didn't so readily embrace its violence and chaos.
