Appearance

Opal is just a little guy, standing at 4 feet instead of its lifegiver's 5 (measured from the lower shoulder.) It clocks in at about 12 feet from nose to tail, a sleek black body plated with chitin. its tail is thick and short much like an insect abdomen, and the base colour is interrupted by golden banding, striking a line down their back and going on to accent her ribs and face- well, one of them.

From the tail to the first shoulder, he seems like your standard Origin quadruped. But at his neck, two torsos sprout, like a centaur! Kind of. Maybe. The torso and the heads and necks attached to them are fused, attached to the same spine. They share one sit of arms, pointed heavenwards. They are long and lanky, with a human hand at the end of each, all four fingers and thumb attached. The lower head is of its lifegiver - An arrow's head, lined with sharp teeth. It has 3 golden pairs of eyes lining both sides, a curving crest above them at her brow, stretching back to a point that protrudes from the back of her bottom head, not quite large enough to be called horns.

Above is her upper head, clipping into the other's skull, nestled between aforementioned crests. It is unsettlingly human, capable of all the expressions that come with having such a face. a soft gold gradient drips from where its brow dips into nose and sockets, and more drippings of the colour outline her eyes, and dots her cheek and forehead in a teardrop shape - the former on her left, the latter on her right. Two more eyes are found in their sockets, gold and pupil-less like the others.

Personality

Opal is a creature of conflicting ideas. Her lower side pads along, does the work, bites who it need to. It is a steadfast and stoic soldier. Her upper parts are uh, not quite that. He chatters and flails his arms, he is a ruckus maker and showman. You would be forgiven for assuming they held separate minds- but that is false. Different actions manifest in them separately is all, which is understandable considering the rigidity of the bottom head. Its not very conducive to non-verbal communication.

Opal is talkative and friendly, perhaps too talkative. You can tell it to do anything you want, but it is very hard to get them to be quiet about it. All thoughts and feelings are worth sharing, because they are all important and interesting and things everyone should know.

It also has a penchant for mischief, but to antagonise things willy nilly within the Chaos Forge is quite dangerous. Instead, it follows orders- to the letter. Mispeak? Omit? Assume? She will take advantage of this in a heartbeat. She isn't sadistic (not yet at least), but she is gleefully obtuse.

For now, he is a child. He is naïve, values his mentors in his own way, cherishes those who uplift him. Even then, they are not entirely safe from her tricks. Pranks can be considered a love language, right?
