Appearance
 The old champion has changed. He's still a dragon, a creature of his namesake, and yet his thorns have been shorn off in the process of mutation- no longer the rose he once was. Only his antlers remain of that part of his heritage.
Laid over his orange scales on his neck is a coarse, thin mane, made of hardy strands of hair that encroach over his back and tail. This tail- along with the rest of him- is rather long proportionally, but he remains only nearly five feet in length. His wings are thick and wide at twelve feet- their wrists are tipped with three-toed claws that naturally grip at the dragon's shoulders at rest. He has grown more dense, too. Thicker muscles wrap around his body than before, with his face vaguely longer than before.
Spread out over his extremities is a darker fade of orange, as though he'd been burnt. His claws- now morphed into thick representations of hands- have sharp claws with notches like an ice pick's. On top of it all, thick antlers on his head pierce off into three points, curling behind two broad ears. Behind the right- between the fold of skin- is nestled a small bubble of skin encasing a sandy gem. Two bright, blue eyes are formed like a hawk's to pinpoint distant objects. Glimmering white teeth jut from blue jaws- blue from the blood he has spilled countless times again and again. Personality
 And yet, he didn't expect for the emotional to hurt the most. A chance meeting with his father completely flipped a switch in Vander. No longer is he the ruthless being, striving for succession- knowing he wasn't designed for that brought him a few realizations. The chief one was that he never needed permission to live. A lesson learned during his time living with beings of the Natural Order, Vander has shaped himself into something that strives for goodness, for safety, for the protection of others. He has a lot to learn about kindness, however, but he seems to be taking a step in the right direction. He never was built to prevent attachments- he wasn't created with anything in mind at all. And that, perhaps, excites him. He's not bound to one path anymore, and he can choose his own life, and he'll relish every moment of it.  History
