Appearance

Its body plan largely resembles it's life giver. A massive crocodilian hound, 8 feet tall at the shoulder and 28 feet snout-to-tail. It is covered in feathers, aside from it's face and limbs, which are covered in thickly armored scales and spikes. Its feet are webbed with large claws. It's face has a jagged-toothed beak and six round eyes. It is mostly a dusty purple with darker barring and a light off-white belly. It's accented with streaks of vivid purple and green, and it's eyes and innards are neon teal. It also has wings- although it is too heavy to fly.
As a chick, it's significantly smaller, about 2 feet at the shoulder. It is also covered in soft white down that will molt off into it's waterproof adult coat in a couple cycles.  Personality

logical and largely without emotion. not unkind but genuinely doesn't understand emotional outbursts or why people would let what they feel come in the way of decision making. prefers to work alone but works without complaint. does what they have to do without second-guessing or doubt. very rarely questions anything: in this sense, very gullible. they don't understand why someone would lie.
