Appearance

These puny birds are a type of tanager who are best suited for life along the forest's edge, either in very small groups or excessively large ones - they swing between those extremes. Younger birds have pale legs; the male have the brightest scarlet legs and turn a flagrant blue during their breeding season, with a ridge of turquoise feathers on top of their head and stark black markings. The rest of the year both genders of this warbler are more greenish in color with faint streaking on their chest. When their black-topped wings unfurl there is a brilliant sulphur-yellow display.

Vigids' stone is rooted to the bottom of their mouth where a tongue would usually sit. It is a transitional stone that ranges in color from pale turquoise to yellow, gray, and white. It is a gem with good color, clarity and hardness; however it is slightly water-soluble, meaning that Vigdis' saliva can dull the surface. It is important to note that boracite is so named for its high concentration of boron (around 20% boron by mass) which is naturally occurring.

Warm, attentive, focused, moody, shallow, forgetful, dynamic, disobedient.

Vigdis is always watching, and a good thing too given his size. He's drawn towards others and is social from the start, but holds an inherent bias towards those of the avian persuasion. He can become so focused on a task that he loses sight of the grander scheme, or loses time. In moments of crises he has a singular interest: his own survival above all others.
