Appearance

Emerging into the world, this sweet little bundle of joy is already immense and easily able to gallivant all around the caves. Adorned with dark, curly fur to keep warm, Virgil can go just about anywhere. Within a cycle, her horns will begin to grow in and her build will become ever stockier and more powerful. Clock hitting two cycles and she'll veer away from the natural sexual dimorphism and grow a small beard and bit of a ruff between her horns. Somewhere in between appearing as a cow or a bull. At four cycles, she'll be a force to be reckoned with, nine hundred eighty-five kilos of terror rushing you at speeds up to forty miles per hour.

At first, Virgil will be rather bland in coloration, all around just a light tan color. The most striking thing about her appearance will be crystalline blue eyes, shining sharp against her face. It will be with the beginning of horns that she'll start to be a little more defined. Overall, she'll become a darker, richer brown color with a darker muzzle and poof. Her back is also host to this sable marking. Her undersides are comparatively much lighter, retaining her childhood creamy tones.

— expected to be 1.7 m tall at hump and weigh 985 kg

Personality

Like many other children, this little bison has a penchant for the more lurid aspects of life. For the first two or three cycles of her life, she will excitedly roam the caverns to familiarize herself with them and create connections. It's highly likely that she'll come into possession of many friends with her own nature that can only be described as the Overly-Excited Mom Friend^TM. Virgil's a rather loud and boisterous child, only slowing down to marvel at one of life's greatest natural wonders: ice. When the little rimeling isn't frolicking with anything that moves, she's off fervently practicing magic, aspiring to one day be able to conjure up beautiful ice like the caves can.

Along with the active nature comes big words. She's most certainly quick to put up her proverbial dukes, not hesitating to play fisticuffs with anything and everything that threatens someone who's blessed with the title of friend. This doesn't work out well as a child, but once she's fully-grown... anyone deemed a friend has their life figured out for them.

With time comes only development and growth. Virgil will steadily slow down to enjoy the simpler things in life. Of course, she will retain the OEMF^TM characteristics of her youth. Overall, her enthusiasm has been curbed, giving way to a more gentle giant wandering the caves, perhaps alongside the gembound she will inevitably grow to accept as her wards.
