Appearance

Vjira is something that of a terrifying creature. She stands at 8 feet tall at the shoulder, and is about 20 feet long not counting her tail. Vjira's body rests at a deep purple color and doesn't change until it hits the frills in various places on her body. Those seem to move through colors which can make others disoriented with the changes and the flashing. It isn't actually too bright to the eyes, though, but does emit a glow.

On this beasts head, there is three frills. Two on each of the sides of the head, almost ear-like, and one on the top of the head. The frills on the sides can move freely, like ears of animals. Though each of the two sport for eyes all in a line, allowing the Valkhound a wide range of sight. The one on the middle-top sports a singular eye, and each of them are yellow-orange in color. Her head is triangle shaped, more obvious at the mouth where both the top and bottom lip turn to a point, almost looking like a fleshy bird-beak. Vjira looks like she is always smiling, unable to close her mouth, and instead showing off pointy teeth that slot together nicely to make it seem like her mouth is closed.

Vjira's body is bulky and covered in a light sprinkling of fur that isn't noticeable unless you touch her. Her neck is splashed with a thick covering of fur which extends down as a mane to her tail, which also is a thick plating of fur, though it doesn't cover her entire tail. Some of the fur extends on her undersides too, though only to the midsection of her stomach. Large wings can tower over her body, or cover her like a cloak. She can't fly, however, and the wings are missing important membranes to really allow flight. Each of the parts her wings have ends in dark purple claws, but are more for intimidation than use. The frills on her wings also have that seemingly color-changing glow, and allow her to hide her body within it to disorient other gembound.

As for her legs, Vjira has long talons at the end of each of them, strong and capable for attacking or catching prey. On her front legs, scales go up most of the front side, almost acting as an armor of sorts. Her back legs, though, are missing this feature.

When high on adrenaline, Vjira's entire body can change to look like the glow of the frills that cover parts. It is a defense mechanism and is only seen when the danger strikes her body or something happens enough to make the adrenaline spike through.

Personality

Vjira is an ever so curious being, poking at things that she doesn't understand, eating them, picking a fight with them. Whatever will allow her to figure out what she is looking at. She may take a lot of time to stick around one thing just to figure out what exactly it is, living or not. Stalking living things for long periods of time or sitting with nonliving things to see what they do is not uncommon. Once she puts her mind to something she is going to do it, whether or not its good or bad.

Rather than using words, most of the Valkhound's communication is through body language or sounds. For some reason, she never will be able to fully grasp the meaning of every word, but still is extremely smart regardless. She seems to be feral, and somewhat is, running on instinct and nothing else. (Except where cases of her curiosity gets the better of her and she decides to go against it.) Vjira is more prone to attacking with her actual teeth and claws rather than magic, and may never really understand how to use magic well enough to use all of the power that comes with being corrupted.

Vjira tends to have sudden swings in mood when it comes to certain things, being just fine one moment and going aggressive the next. Corruption seems to have made her more aggressive than she would be if she wasn't, but it may make her seem far more aggressive than she actually is.
