Appearance

They will never experience puppyhood- not in the traditional sense, at least. They will be born in the body of an adult wolfdog, 38 inches tall at the shoulder and 6 feet nose to rump.

For the most part they resemble an czech wolfdog, aside from their complete lack of color. Their pelt is a monotone agouti of various shades of grey, darker on top and lighter on the underside. Their eyes are a bright shining silver, and their nose and paw pads are black. Even the inside of their mouth, tongue, and flesh is a pallid grey rather than the red or pink you'd expect.

Their gemstone is a piece of glowing blue prismatic skystone, also recognized as the material Polaris's Spire is made of. It sits right between their shoulder blades, in a short spike that mimics the aforementioned Spire.

Personality

They are a protector. A guardian angel. Even when they know nothing else, they know this.

As such, they are diligent, constantly looking for threats and attempting to quickly dispatch any that they spot. When not combating their Enemies, they are working to create and reinforce safe havens for their Charges, gathering supplies and setting up defenses. If any potential Charges are encountered during this, they will be protected and herded towards a safe area.

Seldom do they rest, and only to maintain their body- the tool which they use to Protect. They recognize the importance of this- caring for themself so that they may care for others- but it easy to forget this in the moments where protecting the many required the sacrifice of One.

They speak in loud, "BE NOT AFRAID"-eqsue statements, proclaiming safety to those they swore to protect and doom to those who stand in the way of that. They are capable of lowering their voice, but it often sounds cracked and strained when they do so. In general they are not good at being soft or gentle- they are a shield, not a blanket.
