Appearance

Xervas is rather typical for his species. Dark brown -- nearly black-- feathers go down his back and make up the primary coloration in his wings. His face and underside are naturally a bright white, save for the dark V on his chest. However, the white stains easily. While it is possible for him to get clean, he considers it to not be worth his time. And so, parts of him stay a reddish-brown tone instead. A black band comes down from his eyes, down towards his chin, where a tuft of feathers sit. And those eyes themselves. His iris is silvery in color. His sclera, however, is bright red in coloration. He has a wingspan of about 8ft.

His gem, a bloodstone, sits at the base of his tail. It is small and thin in width, mimicking the shape of the feathers around it. If one is not looking closely, it may go unnoticed entirely.

Personality

Xervas is not exactly a kind bird. This bearded vulture takes a great amount of pleasure in scaring others. Most important to him, though, is winning. Xervas wants to be stronger than the rest. Of course, he needs to learn how to use magic to do so! But he doesn't see the point of using inanimate objects. To see how well something works in combat, would it not make the most sense to use it in combat? He rarely backs down from any fight, even if it's very clear he's going to lose. Turning tail and running is an act of weakness! He will do no such thing! Maybe if it was life or death.

However, Xervas is not entirely cruel. He remembers any act of kindness and refuses to harm those that did him any favors. Even if he simply needed directions. Attack him after the fact, though, and you're fair game once again.
