Appearance

As a newly emerged Gembound, Yellow will honestly not look much different from their adult self. They will be smaller, of course, and their body will appear more slender, and they will be less furry, making them appear more delicate, but that's where the differences end. As they age through their first four cycles, they will get chubbier, and they will get very, very furry. Their coat is plush, soft, and meticulously groomed. As for size, they will measure about 19 inches not including their tail, which is only a little shorter than their body.

Yellow's fur is white with a slight golden tint. Their face is nearly hairless, revealing dark black skin that contrasts sharply with their wide, pumpkin orange eyes. The insides of their ears are black, but the outside is completely covered by tufts of snowy-white fur. There is a thin line of whitish orange fur right above there eyes, and that's where their gem sits. It's a smooth jade oval that sits right in the middle - except it's not green, it's a vivid yellow color. The top of their head is full-on orange, a bright, cheerful color for a bright, cheerful lemur. There's also orange fur on and above their collarbone area, fading to a light golden shade once it reaches the top of their forearms.

Personality

Significant instinctive aversion to fire from being burned to death two times, though it resents that knee-jerk reaction, as its beloved brother used fire magic. Hates valkhounds, would 100% commit war crimes if the opportunity arose. Devoted to Mother because it thinks Mother and her fungus will make the caves a safer and better place. Fond of Khloros, Pallas, the Gemini rift, and its brothers.

Easily believes any propaganda that doesn't clash with a strongly-held belief. Cheerful, warm, and rather gentle toward "friend-shaped" things. Would you like to be its friend?

History

Met Sebastian, called him big brother, Sebastian burned down Eridanus and Yellow died. Came back to life (as one does) cycles later, with everyone he knew missing. Went exploring, met a horse, went to see the northern lights and get holiday gifts together. Stubbornly endeared themselves to several caroller "roommates" in a tree hollow. Died in a fire (again). Got a "blanket" from what it's convinced is a sentient, benevolent magic piece of rock mirror thing in Gemini and is inspired to become nice but strong, like his former brother. Went to Ursa to go stargazing, acquired what it's convinced is a magic piece of fungus that will save the world by bringing families together, met Mother while temporarily hiding from climate change in Ursa. As global warming died down a little, Yellow returned to Eridanus, where they stayed for many cycles.
