Appearance
Yvan is a hybrid of beast and man. Affixed to the top of a draconic body is that of a man; he's a centaur, but for a reptile more than a horse. Blue, snake-like scales cover his body, spreading up his humanoid back and shoulders, even reaching to his arms with orange claws to match his lower half. Deer-like ears and sunset colored antlers throw him off enough to not be mistaken as a human. This pink and orange extends to the pads of his feet and barring across his limbs and knuckles.
Much of his bottom half is dominated by the four massive seabird wings attached to dense muscles and a large keel; Yvan is capable of gliding on strong winds with their biplane effect, given he has a falling start. The feathers are dual-colored, with the tops being a mimic of an orange-pink nebula, and the bottom a light blue. All are tipped in a black line reminiscent of a seagull. His tail looks more like the body of a snake as it comes in at twice his body length, strong enough to constrict if necessary. He's rather capable of defending himself with his sharpened claws and fangs if he manages to get human lips around prey. He's built to be an ambush predator, with strong legs to charge for short bursts. The glow from heart-like markings adorning his wrists and lower chest typically unconsciously dim when he's hiding or focused; on the inverse, they flare up when he's emotionally charged or comfortable. The latter's the most obvious when he purrs through the whole process. Many of his internal processes are less of a nightmare than it looks. He's rather cohesive, not having two sets of organs for the most part. His lungs are larger in his upper half, with a primary crop-like stomach instead of a proper one for digestion. Much of his lower half is instead reserved for his actual stomach and intestines where it's not cluttered with shoulder muscles. The heart in his first chest is radioactive stone; the blood it pumps is pink and almost sweet from hormones that metabolize the radon that flows through his veins. He's resistant to radon itself, but he's not immune to outside sources of radiation. As of unconventional fishing, Yvan now has a long scar running from his left jaw up to his right eyebrow, passing over the bridge of his nose.  Personality
The world exists for Yvan to figure out. Except, the world to him is more people than nature, because he's yet to figure them out first. He knows feeding himself, he knows keeping himself safe, but other Gembound are an utter mystery to him. Hidden meanings fly over his head, and nuance is dug into with tooth and claw to fully catch on anything he may be missing out on.
Aside from being a fixer, Yvan also seeks to hoard things he likes. His particular obsession is swords; only, he doesn't entirely know what a sword is. He knows it's long, he knows it's metal, but he doesn't entirely know or need to know the purpose. The shinier and sturdier it is, the better. Yvan can be reserved at times, however. If he doesn't have a solution, he'll hang back until he has one, keeping himself outwardly emotionally flat when he's around people he's not comfortable with. Friendship is where he blooms, often more emboldened by being near them, seeking to not be alone without those he trusts by him. He's not desperate, per say, but he can be clingy if he stops tempering himself. When he's not busy with a project or being around those he loves, he's prone to thinking (rarely out loud) to himself a lot, analyzing his surroundings and staying alert.  History

It flows well into his need to over-complicate everything. If it's a better way to do it, Yvan throws his whole self into it, since a little bit of energy today means less energy used overall. Little problems in his life bother him to no avail, and he'll seek to fix it even if he knows he shouldn't, butting in to help people with problems and not understanding if something isn't. If it'd be a problem to him, it would be a problem to someone else, wouldn't it?
