Appearance

A large boy, even when just formed, never one to just be a bystander. Created to have eyes on him, power doesn't radiate off him exactly, but he clearly is not weak and would not look it at all.

Once fully grown he would possess a large frame, not of fat, but of muscle, building him to be a fighter, a survivor but more importantly a taker. He stands on large paws, yet they don't look out of place on his bulky body, which doesn't have to many defined muscles to look disgusting. Long, strong legs hold up his muscular but also lean body, making him a runner (both physically and mentally) but also a hunter.

His figure is encompassed in pure black fur, a shadow to the walls, the night in the caves. Nothing takes away the darkness from him, no white flecks, no brown stripes, nothing. He owns the darkness, it's his to control. The shadows call him home, the darkness is his love, nothing can tear him away from them. Maybe this is because while he was a gem, being formed, he was in a dark corner, away from the flickering glow of the lights that hang from the walls, away from everything and everyone apart from the blackness. Even now, after being created, he takes the darkness everywhere with him, it covers his body, lives in his fur, in his heart, and most literally in his spine. The black Opal he calls his replaces one vertebrae in his spine, not covering it in blackness, but being the darkness it's self, this would hopefully not ruin his movements, seeing as the vertebrae is small.

The only contradiction to the darkness of his fur would be the orbs that rest where his eyes should be. They possess danger, power destruction. Resting there, dancing on the surface is fire, red and orange mixed together.

Personality

He's a contradiction in himself: Not quiet, yet he's not loud either. Smart and logical, yet no one would know him enough to call him a genius. Small and large. A monster trapped in his own mind, never strong enough to escape.

Strong minded, which just makes him being trapped all the more difficult to him, even as a young one he knew how to speak and walk. Yes, he still can not speak properly and his ability of walking means he would fall over a lot. He's also a logical thinker, but his mind is merely an obstacle, he would do what he wants when he sees fit and would not let others stop him.

Stern faced and near to emotionless on the surface, everything is hidden behind a mask of a straight face and dead eyes. It's as if nothing brakes through, because nothing has to, believing that emotions slow you down and only cause trouble he keeps them hidden and pushed down. Some would go as far as saying that he was afraid to feel, but he would say that it was just self-preservation.

A lone creature, never one to settle with anyone, never one to even get close to others. He keeps others at a distance, he would speak to them but never get to know them. Friends only cause heartbreak and confused emotions that everyone could live without. A little due to this, he's like a monster, would do what he wants when he want, he would not even think about hurting others before doing it, and it would not effect him if he was the cause of someone's death. A sadistic murderer. A masochistic monster.

Deep deep down, he's not all bad, sort of. Without knowing it, subconsciously he wants someone to keep pushing themselves into his life, even when he pushes them away and locks them out like everyone else. He would get annoyed and angry and want to harm them, but he just wants someone to look past that and continue trying to wriggle their way in. Even though he would never allow it as far as he's concerned.

Even when he's young he may not possess all these attributes but he would surely grow into them, a stubborn thing, even keeping to himself when it might be easier to survive with others at a young age.
