Appearance

Died due to an infection caused by his broken leg thanks to belladonna. His gem is in Arkrael's possession and is not up for grabs.

Sharp features, strong body, underneath a coat of pure white fur. This dog is obviously built for the thrill of battle with his strong build but he also is able to run and chase down prey with his large chest and long legs. Almost a perfect balance of the two extremes, he is. Zariel's large body will fill out at a height of 27 inches at the shoulder and weigh in at 90 pounds with a long, sloping back. His paws will be huge and able to support his large frame. On top of his head sits two large ears which allow him to hear quite well.

Zariel's eyes are large and a beautiful golden shade. His eyes are the exact same color as his stone. The stone itself is noticeable right off the bat as it has taken the shape of his two eye teeth. Inside of his mouth the gem goes across the roof of it in a thin strip that connects the two sharp fangs. In length these teeth are five inches and poke out from under his upper lip which is why they are easily noticeable.

As a pup he's a bit more rotund and has less musculature than as an adult. His fangs also barely poke below his lip and his large ears are folded rather than erect.

Through RP:
From an encounter with Belladona his fur has been permanently stained with black. His legs, face, and undercoat are black. On his back there seems to be a large black smudge with trails that look like darkness has tried to run down. On his left haunch is a hoofprint of a white deer.

Personality

Zariel is a quiet soul, quiet, and observant. Some would think that he's a simpleton because of how much he doesn't speak. Not only that but he has a nasty habit of staring with a blank expression. Not because he has nothing going on in his head... It's just how he is. He'll stare and sometimes not even answer a word of a question you've asked him. It's even worse if he doesn't like you. His monosyllabic answers will be enough to make anyone uncomfortable or make them want to run.

However, if you can get past this perhaps Zariel will reward you with a look into his mind. Contrary to popular belief he is able to make friends and even hold a conversation --albeit, somewhat one-sided--- with those that he has a connection with. When you actually get him to talk you might find that he has a sort of quiet intelligence. Ideas, aspirations, observations of the world around him might slip from his lips if you will just try to dig deeper and understand him a bit better. Even moreso, some people find that his blank stare and rather quiet body is betraying of no emotion but he has them within. The canine doesn't wear his emotions on his sleeves but if you've been around him enough you'll learn that he has certain quirks that display what he feels within. For example, he doesn't smile but instead will give a subtle twitch of the corners of his mouth when happy. When he's angry or irritated he won't growl but instead you'll see a twitch of his brows to betray his discomfort. When he's afraid... well... He doesn't do anything. In fact, whether it is a genetic abnormality or something else he does not feel fear. It makes him fearlessly brave and completely disregard his own safety. This is a bad thing for him but good for others as he is completely loyal and would literally do anything for those that he loves. Even if those that he loves betrays him he is highly unlikely to plot revenge because of the depths of his devotion.

Another thing that helps with betrayal is probably his lack of a temper. People can insult, berate, or call him out of his name but so long as he is not outright attacked he is likely to do nothing about. He'll just sit and stare... sometimes if he's verbally abused enough he'll just call upon his strange stare to intimidate others into leaving. The only time he'll ever act on words is if the words are spoken against those he has loyalty to but even then unless it is a direct threat the most you're likely to get is an eyebrow twitch.
